Liquid Foundation Using Starch as Filler and Preparation Method thereof
The disclosure discloses a liquid foundation using starch as a filler and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical fields of deep processing of starch and preparation of cosmetics. In the disclosure, starch is modified by an OSA reagent and then homogenized and micronized to obtain a starch filler; powder materials and the water phase in the formula of the liquid foundation are sequentially added to the oil phase at a certain temperature; the mixture is sheared at low speed, homogenized, and cooled to room temperature; and the starch filler is added to prepare the liquid foundation using starch as a filler, wherein the formula includes 10-20 parts of oil phase, 65-75 parts of water phase, 5-10 parts of toner, and 5-15 parts of starch filler. The starch filler in the disclosure is hypoallergenic, environmental and safe, and the liquid foundation containing the starch filler is refreshing and not easy to clog pores, solves the problems of traditional fillers which are thick and greasy, unbreathable, easy to aggravate facial acne, and the like, and is in line with the current propensity to consume of consumers for green and safe beauty products.
Dispersion of fine lipid particle dispersion
To provide a composition in which fine particles of solid lipid such as ceramides are emulsified and dispersed in a stable manner without being crystalized. A dispersion of fine lipid particles containing the following components (A) to (E), wherein the dispersion has a pH of 3.5 or more and 8.0 or less and the fine lipid particles have a heat of fusion of 0.30 J/g or less in a temperature range of 45° C. or more and 80° C. or less and an average particle size of less than 200 nm. (A) one or more selected from the group consisting of a sterol and a derivative thereof, (B) a lipid other than the component (A), the lipid being solid or semi-solid at 25° C., (C) an anionic surfactant, (D) a water-soluble solvent and (E) water.
Oral care product formulation
A three-part method of cleaning a user's teeth and/or gums is disclosed. First, a user applies a tonic of essential oils to the user's teeth and/or gums by either brushing, rubbing, rinsing and/or flossing with the tonic thereby destroying harmful bacteria. Second, the user brushes with a toothpaste having nano-hydroxyapatite being particles of 50 nanometers or smaller. The nano-hydroxyapatite is absorbed into the surface opening inside dentinal tubules of the teeth. Third, the user seeds their mouth with an oral probiotic having beneficial bacteria. The third step must come after both the first and second steps.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POWDER SOLID COMPOSITION AND POWDER SOLID COMPOSITION
A method for producing a powder solid composition including a base containing non-volatile liquid oil, the method includes: blending wax in a powder form into the base; dispersing the base in a solvent; volatilizing the solvent at a first temperature where the wax does not dissolve; and heating the base at a second temperature where the wax dissolves, wherein a blending amount of the non-volatile liquid oil is 15% by mass or more and 40% by mass or less with respect to the base.
Nitric oxide containing composite
The present invention provides a nitric-oxide containing composite in the form of microparticles, wherein said microparticles comprise: (i) a core which comprises silica; (ii) a layer on said core which comprises a metal-organic framework; and (iii) nitric oxide;
wherein said metal-organic framework comprises organic ligands comprising at least one amine group, said metal-organic framework is uniformly distributed on the surface of said silica core and said nitric oxide is chemisorbed within said metal-organic framework.
Inorganic sunscreen agents with higher UV radiation protection
Ultraviolet radiation sun protective compositions are reported which feature micronized metal oxide inorganic particles selected from zinc oxide, titanium oxide and mixtures thereof, the inorganic particles being coated with poly[C.sub.8-C.sub.20 hydroxycarboxylic acid], the coated particles measured at a 10% loading in dodecane and 1 minute elapsed time having a Zeta Potential ranging from 2 to 10 mv, amounts of the poly[C.sub.8-C.sub.20 hydroxycarboxylic acid] to the inorganic particles being in a relative weight ratio of 1:100 to 1:10.
INORGANIC SUNSCREEN ACTIVE AGENTS IN COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
Inorganic sunscreen active agents in cosmetic compositions and methods are provided and feature micronized metal oxide inorganic particles selected from the group consisting of zinc oxide, titanium oxide, cerium oxide and mixtures thereof, the inorganic particles being coated with: (i) a poly[C8-C20 hydroxycarboxylic acid], the coated particles measured at a 10% loading in dodecane and at 1 minute elapsed time having a Zeta Potential ranging from 2 to 10 mv, particularly from 2 to 5 mv, amounts of the poly[C8-C20 hydroxycarboxylic acid] to the inorganic particles being in a relative weight ratio of 1:100 to 1:10; or alternatively (ii) an adduct of a hydroxy cinnamate and a silanol, amounts of the adduct to the inorganic particles being in a relative weight ratio of 1:200 to 1:4; or alternatively (iii) mixtures of (i) and (ii).
Organic peroxide dispersions
Evaporation of water from an aqueous dispersion of a solid peroxide such as benzoyl peroxide is retarded by the incorporation of carboxylic acid salt. The carboxylic acid salt renders the aqueous dispersion less susceptible to explosive decomposition when exposed to external triggering events such as impact, heat, friction or contamination, yet does not interfere with the ability to achieve and maintain a stable, small particle size dispersion having desirable viscosity and flow properties.
