Dryness sensing circuit and sensing method of dryness
A dryness sensing circuit and a dryness sensing method are provided. The dryness sensing circuit and the dryness sensing method set a time constant of a resistor and capacitor short for liquidity of dryness determination algorithm and minimize a noise effect of a power supply.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE WITH A SENSOR
An apparatus and method towards a laundry treating appliance for drying laundry comprising a rotatable drum at least partially defining a treating chamber and having a front and a rear where at least one conductivity sensor is located within the treating chamber, and a motor rotating the drum tumbles laundry within the treating chamber to ensure contact of the laundry with the conductivity sensor.
Dryer Appliance and a Method for Forming a Unitary Component with a Moisture Sensor
A method for forming a unitary component with a moisture sensor is provided. The method includes establishing three-dimensional information of the unitary component, converting the three-dimensional information into a plurality of slices, and successively forming each slice of the unitary component with an additive process. The moisture sensor of the unitary component includes a first conductive lead and a second conductive lead. A related dryer appliance is also provided.
Steam generator and laundry treatment apparatus including the same
A method of the present disclosure includes a first operation of supplying hot air to laundry until the dryness of the laundry has reached a predetermined standard dryness, and a second operation of alternately performing a moisture supply operation of supplying moisture to the laundry and a hot air supply operation of supplying hot air to the laundry.
Steam generator and laundry treatment apparatus including the same
A steam generator includes a generator body including an inlet through which fluid is introduced and or outlet through which the fluid is discharged, a first flow channel providing a flowing path for the fluid is introduced into the generator body through the inlet, a second flow channel to guide the fluid from the first flow path to the outlet, and a heater to heat the generator body, the heat of the generator body being exchanged with the fluid guided through the first and second flow channels, and greater amount of heat being provided at the first flow channel than the second flow channel.
Method for controlling a motor of a laundry dryer
A method is provided for controlling a motor speed (v) of a motor (16) in a laundry dryer during a drying cycle, which motor (16) is provided for driving a laundry drum (20) and an air stream fan (14) of the laundry dryer. The drying cycle is subdivided into a first part and a second part. During the first part of the drying cycle the motor speed (v) takes a value of a first predetermined motor speed (v1). During the second part of the drying cycle the motor speed (v) takes a value of a second predetermined motor speed (v2). The value of the second predetermined motor speed (v2) is higher than the value of the first predetermined motor speed (v1) and allows laundry tumbling inside the drum (20). The drying cycle changes from the first part to the second part, when laundry dryness (38) of laundry inside the laundry drum (20) has reached a predetermined value.
Laundry treating apparatus
Disclosed is a laundry treating apparatus including a cabinet, a drum, a fluid circulator including a compressor sensor, an air circulator including a fan, a driver including a first driver and a second driver, and a controller, wherein a drying operation includes an efficiency increasing process for increasing drying efficiency inside the drum, an efficiency maintaining process for maintaining the drying efficiency, and an efficiency decreasing process for reducing the drying efficiency, wherein the controller performs the drying operation while distinguishing the efficiency increasing process, the efficiency maintaining process, and the efficiency decreasing process from each other through a measured value of the compressor sensor.
Wireless communication assembly
A wireless communication assembly includes a driver module connected to a first portion of a machine, such as a laundry machine, and a receiver module connected to a second portion of the machine, such as a rotatable drum. The first module includes a primary coil configured to generate an electromagnetic field and a first wireless transceiver. The second module includes a secondary coil configured to convert energy within the electromagnetic field into electric power, and a second wireless transceiver powered by the secondary coil and configured to communicate with the first wireless transceiver. One or more sensors may be positioned within the drum to measure various conditions. The receiver module may be powered by the secondary coil and when powered on, may communicate data from the one or more sensors to the first module.
STEAM COMPRESSION DRYER
A dryer apparatus is disclosed comprising a container having a container inlet and outlet, a pump that is configured to motivate a first air-vapor mixture flow via the container inlet and via the container outlet, a heating device configured to heat the first air-vapor mixture, a selector with at least two states, a compressor that is configured to compress and motivate a part of the first air-vapor mixture flow as a second air-vapor mixture flow, to flow through a first heat exchanger and to flow through a second heat exchanger and a pressure reducing device that is configured to reduce the pressure of said second air-vapor mixture downstream said first heat exchanger. The selector is configured to direct most of the first air-vapor mixture to flow in a closed cycle through the container, or configured to exchange most of the first air-vapor mixture with air located outside the apparatus.
Dryer and controlling method thereof
The present invention relates to a dryer and a controlling method of a dryer, which can sense whether there is a malfunction or can precisely sense a drying rate of laundry. A dryer comprising a drum that laundry is stored in and a heater that supplies hot air to the drum, the dryer includes a sensing circuit that outputs a pulse signal based on contact with the laundry; and a micom that controls the dryer, wherein the micom determines a drying rate of the laundry or whether there is a malfunction in the dryer based on the pulse signal outputted from the sensing circuit.
