NANOFIBER STRUCTURES AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Expanded, nanofiber structures are provided as well as methods of use thereof and methods of making.
SOIL-RESISTANT, STAIN-RESISTANT COATINGS AND METHODS OF APPLYING ON TEXTILE OR OTHER FLEXIBLE MATERIALS
A process of fabricating the composition coating may include selecting a textile material substrate, utilizing a sol-gel comprising a silane or silane derivative and metal oxide precursor to coat the substrate, and optionally coating the substrate with a hydrophobic chemical agent and/or other chemical agents to create a surface with nanoscopic or microscopic features. The process may utilize an all solution process or controlled environment for fabricating a composition coating that prevent wetting or staining of a substrate. The composition coatings for treating textile materials improve soil-resistance and stain-resistance of the textile materials. The composition coatings and their use for treating textile materials can also impart water repellency, oil repellency, ease of cleaning stains and removing particulates. In addition, the composite solution may impart additional properties such as physical strength to the textile whilst retaining the original appearance.
ZWITTERIONIC RESIN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A zwitterionic resin is manufactured by a manufacturing method which includes the following steps. A first thermal process is performed on a first crosslinking agent and a choline having hydroxyl group or amino group to form a first mixture, in which the first crosslinking agent includes an isocyanate group. A second thermal process is performed on the first mixture, a second crosslinking agent, a chain extender, and an amino acid to form the zwitterionic resin, in which the chain extender includes a polyol.
SCREEN FOR SCREEN GOLF AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME
The present invention may provide a screen used for screen golf, which can improve the brightness and clarity of the image projected on the screen by suppressing the light of the image from passing through the screen and increasing the reflectance of light from the front of the screen when an image is output by a projector on the screen. In addition, despite repeated golf shots of many users, the brightness and clarity of the image projected on the screen may not be damaged.
FABRIC AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A fabric includes a fabric body and a backing resin layer laminated on a rear surface of the fabric body. The fabric body includes a fluorine-containing organic compound adhered to at least the surface thereof, and the fluorine-containing organic compound has six carbon atoms and at least one fluorine atom. The backing resin layer contains a resin, a flame retardant, and an organic fluorine based oil repellent in which the carbon number is six.
Near Infrared Energy Absorbing Textile
The present invention relates to production of textile with high rate of evaporation of moisture content. In this invention, a textile substrate is coated with Near Infrared (NIR) energy absorbing agent to increase the surface temperature of substrate and enhance the evaporation of moisture from the textile substrate.
INDICATOR MARKING TECHNOLOGY FOR TEXTILES
Improved methods, designs and/or systems for incorporating markings and/or other visual and/or tactilely identifiable indicia on woven, knitted, nonwoven, braided and/or felted textiles used for medical textile implants and prostheses, including medical graft prostheses that would not affect the overall mechanical performance of the textile.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLYESTER FABRIC FOR AIRBAG
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a polyester fabric for an airbag that can not only prevent or minimize the separation of a sizing agent, which is provided to a yarn through a sizing process, during a weaving process, but can also maximize a peel strength between a textile substrate and a coating layer to be subsequently formed thereon and lower the stiffness of an airbag fabric by effectively removing the sizing agent from the textile substrate after the weaving process is completed. The method of the present invention comprises: applying a polyester-based sizing agent to a polyester yarn; manufacturing a textile substrate with the sizing agent-applied polyester yarn; removing the sizing agent from the textile substrate under an alkaline condition of pH 8 to 10; and forming a coating layer on the sizing agent-removed textile substrate in order to enhance air-tightness.
COMPOSITIONS FOR REDUCING INHALATION OF TOXIC AIR POLLUTION COMPONENTS
The present invention relates to a composition, textile, and mask for reducing the inhalation of pollutants. The composition includes an aqueous solution of an inorganic iodide compound, a metal phthalocyanine, and a polymeric binder. The inorganic iodide can be cuprous iodide, the metal phthalocyanine can be iron phthalocyanine, and the polymeric binder can be polyvinylpyrrolidone or polyvinyl alcohol. This pollutant-inactivating composition neutralizes pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, ozone, volatile organic compounds and other unpleasant airborne agents, without requiring elevated temperatures or bulky canisters containing adsorbents. Optionally, a humectant can also be incorporated into the coating solution to retain moisture in the active filter matrix, which enhances the activity of the composition to inactivate oxidizing gases and other toxic constituents of air pollution.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ABSORBENT CORE HAVING ENHANCED WET STRENGTH
The present invention relates to an absorbent core of an absorbent product including a liquid-permeable top sheet, an absorbent dispersion layer disposed at a lower portion of the top sheet, an absorbent core disposed at a lower portion of the absorbent dispersion layer and absorbing and retaining liquids, and a liquid-impermeable back sheet disposed at a lower portion of the absorbent core, and the absorbent core has effects of having the convenience of storage and the activity when an absorbent product prepared therefrom is worn by a user and improving liquid permeability compared to an existing absorbent core.
