TEXTILES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME

Various aspects disclosed relate to structure such as a textile, a garment, a garment component, footwear, or a footwear component. The present disclosure includes the structure having a first region having one of more first fibers. An individual first fiber includes co-extruded first and second filaments, the first filament formed of a first thermoplastic polymeric material. Due to expansion or contraction of the one or more first fibers, the first region contracts or expands on a change in relative humidity, relative to an equilibrium state of the first region prior to the change in relative humidity.

Optimized compression bandage and kit using said bandage

A compression bandage in the form of a knit obtained by warp stitch technology on the basis of synthetic yarns and comprising two textile surfaces of respective textile structures that may be identical or different, the surfaces being interconnected by spacer yarns, each surface including elastic yarns, the bandage being characterized in that said knit presents: longitudinal stretch measured in compliance with the standard EN 14704-1 lying in the range 30% to 160%; and threshold shear stress greater than or equal to 2800 Pa.

SPACER TEXTILE HAVING TIE YARNS OF ONE OR MORE LENGTHS

Aspects herein are directed to a spacer textile comprising a first layer, a second layer, and a plurality of tie yarns that interconnect the first layer and the second layer. The spacer textile further comprises one or more discrete areas from which the first layer is absent along with a portion of the length of the tie yarns in those areas.

ARTICLE OF APPAREL WITH MATERIAL ELEMENTS HAVING A REVERSIBLE STRUCTURE

An article of apparel is disclosed that is at least partially formed from a material element having a substrate and a plurality of projections. The substrate has a first surface and an opposite second surface. The projections extend from the first surface of the substrate, and the projections each have terminal ends located opposite the substrate. The material element has a first permeability when the first surface has a convex configuration, and the material element has a second permeability when the first surface has a concave configuration, the first permeability being greater than the second permeability. The apparel may be reversible such that either the first surface or the second surface of the substrate faces outward.

Prosthesis comprising a three-dimensional and openworked knit

An upper for an article of footwear is configured to be connected to a sole structure and is configured to receive a foot. The upper includes a knitted component having a strobel portion that is configured to be disposed underneath the foot. The strobel portion defines an interior surface and an exterior surface of the knitted component. The strobel portion defines a strobel passage between the interior surface and the exterior surface. Also, the upper includes a tensile strand that extends through the strobel passage.
