A TISSUE PAPER MAKING MACHINE AND A METHOD OF OPERATING A TISSUE PAPER MAKING MACHINE
A tissue machine (1) has a Yankee (3) and a shoe roll (4) that forms a nip with the Yankee (3). The nip has a maximum extension from an entry point (7) to an exit point (8). A flexible belt (9) forms an outer circumference of the roll (4). A fabric (10) carries a fibrous web (W) to the nip and passes through the nip with the web. The fabric (10) reaches the circumference of the roll (4) at a first contact point (11) and wraps the roll (4) from the first contact point to the nip. A mechanical support (12) inside the belt (9) supports the belt (9) between the first contact point (11) and the nip. The fabric (10) wraps the roll (4) from the first contact point (11) by more than 80°. The invention also relates to a method of operating the machine.
DEVICE FOR APPLYING A TREATMENT SUBSTANCE
Device for applying a treatment substance (2.1, 2.2), in particular starch, on at least one side of a running product web (13), in particular a paper or board web, by means of a least one curtain coater (1.1, 1.2) having a discharge nozzle (14.1, 14.2) and at least one press nip (N) following the curtain coater (1.1, 1.2) for forming a hydraulic pressure when the product web (13) passes through a press nip (N) which is formed by one of two rotating press rolls and which causes the treatment substance (2.1, 2.2) to penetrate into the product web (13), wherein the at least one press nip (N) is equipped with at least one heated applicator roll (7, 8) as a press roll to increase the penetration of the treatment substance (2.1, 2.2) into the product web (13), and at least one of the two press rolls (8) is designed with a fixed or adjustable crown (16) for the adjustment of a line load in a range of 20 to 200 kN/m.
Method and apparatus for producing a fibre web
An apparatus and a method which heat an elongated product in at least two pulses including at least one first pulse wherein the product is pressed for at least 10 ms on a first pressure and at least one second heating and smoothing pulse wherein the product is pressed and/or heated at least for 10 ms on a pressure that is higher than the first pressure. The heating elements being arranged to heat the elongated product so that the heating the heating temperature is at least 80° C. on at least one surface of the elongated product.
PRESS SECTION
A press section which includes first and second press nips and at least one separate continuously revolving press belt which is routed around each press element of each press nip over a plurality of guide rollers. An upper press belt is led away from the fibrous web after the first press nip. Thereafter the fibrous web is transferred from a lower press belt of the first press nip to an upper press belt of the second press nip. The upper press belt of the second press nip wraps around a vacuum assisted guide roller. Thereafter the lower press belt of the second press nip is brought into contact with the fibrous web via a guide roller, after which the fibrous web travels to the second press nip via a guided path jointly with the two opposite upper and lower press belts of the second press nip.
Method and apparatus for producing a fibre web
According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus and a method comprising a forming section for feeding an aqueous furnish of fibres on a moving surface to form a shape of a product and a pressing and heating section for removing water from the shaped product received from the moving surface. The pressing and heating section comprises a felt and metal belt that are set to run against each other for receiving the furnish from the moving surface and heating elements for heating the web in at least two pulses including at least one first pulse wherein the product is pressed for at least 10-200 ms on a first pressure and at least one second heating and smoothing pulse wherein the product is heated at least for 10-200 ms on a pressure that is higher than the first pressure, and at least one of the surfaces pressing the product being the smooth metal belt.
Method and Device for Treating a Fibrous Material Web in a Long Nip Pressing Unit
A method for treating a pulp web in a paper or tissue machine with an extended-nip press unit. This extended-nip press unit includes a shoe press roll with a revolving press belt and a backing roll, where the pulp web is dewatered in the extended press nip between the backing roll and the press belt and where the pulp web is carried on the revolving press belt of the press roll after the extended press nip to a transfer fabric that receives the pulp web. The transfer fabric is guided over a stationary transfer device in the transfer area. A corresponding device for treating the pulp web.
Method and a machine for producing a tissue web
The invention relates to a method of producing a structured fibrous web of paper suitable for tissue products. The method comprises forming a fibrous web and conveying the formed fibrous web on a water receiving felt (5) to a dewatering nip. An endless steel belt (11) with a smooth steel surface is passed through the nip together with the fibrous web and the water receiving felt (5) wherein the endless steel belt is heated by heaters (HE.sub.U, HE.sub.L). After the dewatering nip, the fibrous web is conveyed by the endless steel belt (11) to an endless textured fabric (12) which is permeable to air and to which the web is transferred from the endless steel belt (11) in a transfer nip. The textured fabric (12) runs at a lower speed than the endless belt (11). After the transfer to the textured fabric (12), the fibrous web is carried by the textured fabric (12) to a drying cylinder (17). The transfer nip is formed by two rolls of which one is a suction roll within the loop of the textured fabric. The transfer nip has a length which is 5 mm-40 mm. The endless steel belt (11) has a width that exceeds the width of the textured fabric (12). The invention also relates to a corresponding machine.
