REPULPABLE SILICONE RELEASE LINER PAPER WITH DISSOLVABLE LAYER
A method of producing and repulping paper having a silicone release liner includes producing paper having a silicone release liner that is initially secured to the paper by a dissolvable material. During production of the paper, a water-soluble coating may be applied to a paper surface, and a silicone release coating is then applied to the water-soluble coating. Upon rewetting of the paper during repulping, the water-soluble coating dissolves, thereby enabling separation of the silicone release coating from the paper. The repulpable silicone release liner permits recovery of paper fibers using conventional repulping and recycling processes.
FUNCTIONAL REGENERATED CELLULOSE FIBERS
Fabrics comprising regenerated cellulose fibers and a nanoparticle dispersed throughout the fabric are disclosed herein. The regenerated cellulose fibers can be derived from a biomass such as a fibrous cellulose, wood pulp, cotton, paper, bast fiber, bagasse, or a combination thereof. The nanoparticle included in the fabric can be chosen to confer a desirable property, such as a thermal insulating property, to the fabric. Methods of making the fabrics comprising the regenerated cellulose fibers and nanoparticle are also provided. The method can include (a) at least partially dissolving a cellulose substrate in a medium comprising one or more ionic liquids; and dissolving or suspending a nanoparticle in the medium; (b) recovering a solid nanoparticle-modified regenerated cellulose material comprising the cellulose substrate and the nanoparticle; and (c) processing the solid nanoparticle-modified regenerated cellulose material to form the fabric.
Method for controlling the deposition of stickies in pulping and papermaking processes
A method for controlling the deposition of stickies in pulping and papermaking processes comprises adding to fiber pulp or stock an additive comprising an organo-modified siloxane.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE
In order to absorb a small amount of liquid, to prevent an absorbent article from being disintegrated by the absorbed liquid, and to prevent piping of a toilet from being clogged even if the absorbent article is flushed into a flush toilet, the absorbent article includes a pulp layer containing a crushed pulp or fibers mainly containing a crushed pulp, and the pulp layer has a water repellent surface layer portion formed by applying a water repellent agent to at least one surface layer portion.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF FILM COMPRISING MICROFIBRILLATED CELLULOSE
The present invention relates to a new process for improving dewatering when manufacturing a film comprising high amounts of microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) without negatively impacting the film properties. According to the present invention a high amount of nanoparticles is used as an additive, optionally together with a polymer.
Glass interleaving paper
Provided is a glass interleaving paper capable of suppressing scratches on surfaces of glass plates in a manufacturing process or a distribution process for storing and transporting a plurality of stacked glass plates. The glass interleaving paper is characterized in that a main component is cellulose pulp, a basis weight is 10 to 100 g/m.sup.2, and content of mineral having a Mohs hardness of at least 5 is 400 ppm or less. When the mineral having a Mohs hardness of at least 5 is a silicate mineral, the glass interleaving paper is more useful.
