The polyurethane constituting at least an outer circumferential surface of the shoe press belt includes, as an urethane prepolymer component, an aliphatic polycarbonatediol component and an aromatic diisocyanate component, and includes, as a curing agent component, an aliphatic diol component having a carbon number of less than or equal to 6 and an aromatic diol component having two hydroxyethoxy groups. A content of the aromatic diol component with respect to the aliphatic diol component and the aromatic diol component is more than or equal to 10 mass % and less than or equal to 50 mass %. Accordingly, there is provided a shoe press belt suppressed in generation and development of a crack.
Shoe press belt
A shoe press belt with excellent mechanical properties, in particular a shoe press belt with excellent crack resistance and excellent resistance to land edge deficiency. The shoe press belt includes a felt-side resin layer containing a resin formed by curing a prepolymer having a terminal isocyanate group (—NCO) with a curing agent, wherein the prepolymer contains, in reacted form, a compound comprising 1,4-bis(isocyanate methyl) cyclohexane and a polycarbonate diol, and wherein the felt-side resin layer has grooves that are configured to receive water squeezed from a felt.
PRESS COVER, USE THEREOF, AND PRESS ROLL, SHOE PRESS AND USE OF A REINFORCING THREAD IN A PRESS COVER
A press cover contains at least one polymer layer in which a reinforcing structure is embedded. The reinforcing structure contains at least one reinforcing thread, wherein the material of the reinforcing structure and that of the at least one polymer layer are selected such that the visible light transmittances thereof differ from each other.
Shoe press belt for papermaking
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a shoe press belt which exhibits improvement in mechanical characteristics such as crack resistance, wear resistance, delamination resistance and bending fatigue resistance, particularly in the surface wear resistance of the shoe press belt and the crack resistance of the bottom regions of water receiving parts. A shoe press belt which is produced by integrating a reinforcing substrate with a polyurethane layer including at least a felt-side layer and in which water-receiving parts are formed in the felt-side layer, wherein the polyurethane equivalent value of the second resin layer including the bottom regions of the water-receiving parts is adjusted so as to be larger than that of the first resin layer including a surface which is to be brought into contact with a felt.
SHOE PRESS BELT
There is provided a shoe press belt for a papermaking machine, comprising one or more resin layers. At least a part of the resin layers comprises a polyurethane resin comprising polymeric MIDI as an ingredient. The polyurethane resin may be a resin obtainable by reacting one or more curing agent(s) having an active hydrogen group, polymeric MDI and one or more urethane prepolymer(s) having a terminal isocyanate group, the urethane prepolymer(s) being obtainable by reacting one or more isocyanate compound(s) with one or more polyol(s).
SEAMED FELT AND USE OF THE SEAMED FELT IN A TISSUE MACHINE
A seamed felt for use in a machine for producing a tissue web has a single-layer or multilayer base structure and at least one layer of non-woven fibers. The base structure has a textile structure with MD threads which form seam loops at the two front edges of the base structure. The fabric can be made endless by connecting its front edges by way of a seam. The seam can be formed by interlocking the seam loops of the two front edges and introducing a push-in element. The MD threads wholly or predominantly have a diameter between 0.25 mm and 0.45 mm, in particular between 0.3 mm and 0.35 mm, and the thread density of the MD threads is more than 37%, in particular between 37% and 45%. There is also described a corresponding machine and a method for producing a tissue web.
Fiber web machine sleeve roll belt
A belt (10) for a sleeve roll forms a closed loop and has an inner surface (11), an outer surface (12), an elastic body (15), and a reinforcing structure (30). The reinforcing structure has first yarns (31a) arranged to a first direction (D1) of the belt, and second yarns (32a) arranged to a second direction (D2) of the belt which is parallel or substantially parallel to a travel direction of the belt, and/or perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the first direction (D1). The belt (10) is configured to stretch elastically more in the second direction (D2) than in the first direction (D1) so that it will return to its original length after forces stretching the belt have been removed. This invention further relates to an arrangement including a belt and a sleeve roll. This invention further relates to a use of a belt.
Belt
This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a belt for a paper, board, pulp or tissue machine, the belt (5) comprising a body (14), and a reinforcing structure (31, 32), the belt (5) having an inner surface (10) and an outer surface (11), wherein the method comprises: applying a coating comprising a solid lubricant on to a casting cylinder (18), drying the coating comprising the solid lubricant, thereby obtaining solid lubricant particles (29) on the casting cylinder (18), casting a body material (21) onto the casting cylinder (18) in order to form the body (14) on the solid lubricant particles, and providing the reinforcement structure (31, 32) into the belt, thereby obtaining the belt in which the solid lubricant particles forms at least part of the inner surface of the belt. This invention relates to an arrangement for manufacturing a belt for a paper, board, pulp or tissue machine. The invention further relates to a belt for a paper, board, pulp, or tissue machine.
