The belt has an elastic body (15) with an outer surface (15a) and a reinforcing structure (30). The reinforcing structure has first yarns (31a) arranged to a first direction (D1), and second yarns (32a) arranged to a second direction (D2). The second yarns (32a) are arranged, at least partially, on the elastic body (15), and/or the second yarns (32a) are arranged to a depth of equal to or less than 2 mm, measured from the outer surface (15a) of the elastic body to a bottom (32a-i) of the second yarn (32a) in a depth direction of the belt. The invention further relates to a use of a belt. The invention further relates to an arrangement comprising a belt and a sleeve roll.
Fiber Web Machine Sleeve Roll Belt
A belt (10) for a sleeve roll forms a closed loop and has an inner surface (11), an outer surface (12), an elastic body (15), and a reinforcing structure (30). The reinforcing structure has first yarns (31a) arranged to a first direction (D1) of the belt, and second yarns (32a) arranged to a second direction (D2) of the belt which is parallel or substantially parallel to a travel direction of the belt, and/or perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the first direction (D1). The belt (10) is configured to stretch elastically more in the second direction (D2) than in the first direction (D1) so that it will return to its original length after forces stretching the belt have been removed. This invention further relates to an arrangement including a belt and a sleeve roll. This invention further relates to a use of a belt.
Tissue paper making machine and a method of operating a tissue paper making machine
A tissue machine (1) has a Yankee (3) and a shoe roll (4) that forms a nip with the Yankee (3). The nip has a maximum extension from an entry point (7) to an exit point (8). A flexible belt (9) forms an outer circumference of the roll (4). A fabric (10) carries a fibrous web (W) to the nip and passes through the nip with the web. The fabric (10) reaches the circumference of the roll (4) at a first contact point (11) and wraps the roll (4) from the first contact point to the nip. A mechanical support (12) inside the belt (9) supports the belt (9) between the first contact point (11) and the nip. The fabric (10) wraps the roll (4) from the first contact point (11) by more than 80°. The invention also relates to a method of operating the machine.
Shoe Press Belt
A shoe press belt (10) for a shoe press has an inner surface (11), an outer surface (12), an elastomer body and a support structure (20, 21, 22, 23) for the elastomer body. A plurality of parallel dewatering grooves (50, 50a, 50b) are on the outer surface (12) of the shoe press belt (10), with a ridges (53) provided between two adjacent dewatering grooves (50a, 50b). The dewatering grooves (50, 50a, 50b) have a first wall (60), a second wall (70), and a bottom (80) therebetween. At least the first wall (60) of the dewatering groove (50, 50a, 50b) has a plurality of parallel auxiliary grooves (100, 100a, 100b). A paper, board or pulp drying machine has said shoe press belt (10). A method for installing the shoe press belt (10) is provided.
