Alternative exterior trim part
An exterior trim part for a vehicle comprises a fibrous porous structural layer. The fibrous porous structural layer consists of staple fibers, only. At least 50%, preferably between 70% and 100%, of the staple fibers comprise a first polymer made of modified polyester, such as CoPET, with a melting temperature between 150 C. and 240 C., preferably between 190 C. and 240 C.
Conjugated fiber, base body for artificial leather, and artificial leather
The present invention provides a conjugated fiber suitable for use as a crimped fiber capable of producing an artificial leather having highly dense texture and good quality. The present invention also provides a base body for an artificial leather and an artificial leather produced by using such conjugated fiber. The conjugated fiber of the present invention includes a conjugated fiber comprising a readily soluble polyester component and a less readily soluble component, and the readily soluble polyester component comprises a copolymerized polyester having 5 to 10% by mole of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalate copolymerized therewith and the readily soluble polyester component contains a polyalkylene glycol. The polyalkylene glycol is in the form of streaks extending in longitudinal direction of the fiber in the longitudinal cross section of the conjugated fiber.
Microfibrous product and the use thereof for the preparation of covers and cases
The invention refers to a process for the preparation of a microfibrous non-woven fabric based on polyester or polyamide microfibers immersed in a polyurethane matrix, and having a thickness equal to or less than 0.65 mm, a flat or slightly mottled appearance and a nap length of less than 350 m. The non-woven fabric is used for the preparation of coverings for consumer goods, particularly for the preparation of covers and cases for electronic products.
NONWOVEN FABRICS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
Substantially compostable nonwoven fabrics comprising staple fibers made from natural cellulosic fibers optionally mixed with other natural, man-made or synthetic fibers are described. Also described are methods of preparing such nonwoven fabrics that can include the steps of at least one of needle punching and/or hydroentangling and optionally resin bonding and/or thermal bonding. The compostable, or substantially compostable nonwoven fabrics disclosed herein provide improved durability over conventional nonwoven fabrics.
CHARGED NONWOVEN MATERIAL
The disclosure relates to nonwoven fabric including a nonwoven material having a first surface and an opposing second surface, wherein the first surface has a first average surface charge and the second surface has a second average surface charge, the first average surface charge being different from the second average surface charge, wherein the nonwoven material includes a first plurality of fibers including a first polymer and a second plurality of fibers including a second polymer different from the first polymer. A method for imparting surface charge to a nonwoven N61824_1570Wabric is also provided.
Self-adhesive elastic bandage that can be used, in particular, for the treatment and prevention of diseases of the veins
A self-adhesive compression bandage, in particular for the treatment and prevention of pathologies of venous origin and lymphedema. This bandage is manufactured by the assembling of two self-adhesive nonwovens based on short conjugate fibers which have been crimped. The fibers are preferably made of polyester. The bandage can in addition comprise a supplementary layer.
Elastic bandage having improved compression properties
A compression bandage that is formed by the assembling of a self-adhesive nonwoven based on short conjugate fibers which have been crimped and of an elastic material, the effectiveness of which increases over time. The bandage can be used, alone or in a bilayer compression system, for the prevention or treatment of venous pathologies or lymphedema.
Elastic bandage that can be used, in particular, for the treatment and prevention of vein diseases
A compression bandage formed by the assembling of a nonwoven based on short conjugate fibers which have been crimped and of a nonelastic material. The compression bandage can be used in a bilayer compression system, in particular for the prevention or treatment of venous pathologies.
LAMINATED NONWOVEN FABRIC
There is provided a laminated nonwoven fabric having excellent sound absorbing performance in a low frequency range, the laminated nonwoven fabric having a skin layer and a base material layer, the skin layer having a nonwoven fabric A, the nonwoven fabric A having a density of 100 to 500 kg/m.sup.3, a thickness of 0.5 to 2.5 mm, and an air permeability of 4 to 40 cm.sup.3/cm.sup.2/s; and the base material layer having a nonwoven fabric B, the nonwoven fabric B having a basis weight of 200 to 500 g/m.sup.2 and a thickness of 5 to 40 mm.
Nonwoven fabric for skin care products, face mask, and cleansing sheet
Provided is a nonwoven fabric for skin care products. The nonwoven fabric includes: a thermoplastic resin fiber having a single fiber diameter of 50 nm or more and 800 nm or less; and a cellulose fiber. A tensile strength of the cellulose fiber measured in accordance with JIS L 1015:2010 8.7.2 is 1.9 cN/dtex or less, a total content of the thermoplastic resin fiber and the cellulose fiber is 85% by mass or more relative to a total mass of the nonwoven fabric for skin care products, a content ratio by mass of the thermoplastic resin fiber and the cellulose fiber (thermoplastic resin fiber/cellulose fiber) is 0.23 to 1.50, and a density of the nonwoven fabric for skin care products is 0.08 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.16 g/cm.sup.3.
