Set of compositions for ink jet textile printing and method for ink jet textile printing
A set of compositions for ink jet textile printing includes an ink composition and a coating composition, the ink composition containing a pigment, resin particles, and water, and the coating composition containing resin particles and water. The resin particles contained in the ink composition contain any of a urethane resin, a polycarbonate resin, an acrylic resin, and a styrene resin. The amount of the resin particles in the ink composition is from 1 to 5 parts by mass on a solids basis per part by mass of the pigment on a solids basis. The Young's modulus of dried film of the ink composition is from 1 to 25 MPa, and that of dried film of the coating composition is 50 MPa or less and higher than that of dried film of the ink composition.
WATER-BASED WHITE PIGMENT INK FOR INK-JET RECORDING AND METHOD FOR FORMING AN IMAGE
A water-based white pigment ink for ink-jet recording includes a white pigment and water. The ink further includes a first binder that reacts with a cationic substance contained in a treatment agent applied to fabric to aggregate and a second binder having a lower reactivity with the cationic substance than the first binder.
FABRIC PRINTABLE MEDIUM
A fabric printable medium, with an image-side and a back-side, including a fabric base substrate; a primary layer containing polymeric binders applied on, at least, one side of the base substrate; and an image-receiving coating layer applied over, at least, one primary layer including a first and a second crosslinked polymeric network. The primary layer includes a flame-retardant dispersion including flame-retardant agents and polymeric dispersants. Also disclosed are the method for making such fabric printable medium and the method for producing printed images using said material.
Ink set for textile printing and method for producing printed textile item
An ink set for textile printing is disclosed which includes a pretreatment liquid containing a metal salt, a water-dispersible resin (A), an organic solvent (B) having an SP value of 10 to 14 (cal/cm.sup.3).sup.1/2 and water, and an ink containing a pigment, a water-dispersible resin (C) having a glass transition point of 10° C. or higher, an organic solvent (D) and water. A method for producing a printed textile item is also disclosed.
INKJET INK
An inkjet ink contains coloring particles and an aqueous medium. The coloring particles contain a reaction product between a reactive dye and a specific resin having a primary hydroxyl group. The reactive dye may have a chlorotriazinyl group. The specific resin may include a styrene-(meth)acrylic resin, a polyester resin, or a urethane resin.

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite sheet comprising high performance polyethylene fibres and a polymeric resin comprising the steps of assembling HPPE fibres to a sheet, applying an aqueous suspension of a polymeric resin to the HPPE fibres, partially drying the aqueous suspension, optionally applying a temperature and/or a pressure treatment to the composite sheet wherein the polymeric resin is a homopolymer or copolymer of ethylene and/or propylene. The invention further relates to composite sheets obtainable by said method and articles comprising the composite sheet such as helmets, radomes or a tarpaulins.
IMAGE FORMING METHOD AND IMAGE-FORMED PRODUCT
A image forming method of the present invention includes steps of forming a coloring material layer by applying an ink containing water and a dispersible coloring material dispersed in the water to the surface of a fabric by an inkjet method; and forming, on a surface of the coloring material layer, a protective layer having an average thickness smaller than that of the coloring material layer.
Fabric print medium
A fabric print medium comprising a fabric base substrate; a primary coating composition with a polymeric binder and filler particles applied to, at least, one side of the fabric base substrate; an image-receiving coating composition with a first and a second crosslinked polymeric network applied over the primary coating composition; and a barrier layer comprising a water-repellent agent and a physical gelling compound. DIGITAL TEXTILE PRINTING INKS HAVING ZERO VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUND SOLVENTS THEREIN
An ink, having a viscosity of 2.5 to 15 centipoise at 25° C., for textile printing includes pigment; a water dispersible anionic polymeric resin; a water soluble zero volatile organic compound solvent with a boiling point of 250° C. or greater; a crosslinking agent; and water. The water dispersible polymeric resin has particles with a median volume weighted size of less than 150 nm and a 95.sup.th percentile volume weighted size of less than 250 nm. The water dispersible polymeric resin has an acid number value of 5 to 40, a resin film elongation of 500 to 1200%, and a film tensile strength of 10 to 60 mPa.
