Textile printing
A method of textile printing can include ejecting an ink composition onto a fabric substrate and ejecting a blocked polyisocyanate crosslinker onto the fabric substrate. The ink composition can include from 60 wt % to 90 wt % water, from 5 wt % to 30 wt % organic co-solvent, from 1 wt % to 6 wt % pigment, and from 2 wt % to 10 wt % dispersed polymer binder. The method can also include crosslinking the dispersed polymer binder with a deblocked polyisocyanate crosslinker on the fabric substrate.
PRINTABLE FABRIC MEDIA
A printable fabric medium can include a fabric substrate and a polymeric particle blend including polysiloxane particles and polyolefin release particles pre-treated on the fabric substrate. A weight ratio of the polysiloxane particles to polyolefin release particles can be from 1:5 to 4:1, for example.
CONDUCTIVE INKS WITH NEOPRENE BINDER
A stretchable and/or flexible conductive ink has conductive particles admixed with a binder comprising a neoprene. The mass of the conductive particles in the ink is in a range of 6.0 to 10.4 times greater than the mass of the neoprene in the ink. When deposited on a substrate, the ink provides suitably stretchable and flexible conductive elements. The conductive elements may be stretchable, flexible electronic and/or thermal devices.
Recording Method
A recording method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a recording method on a fabric, including an ink adhering step of adhering droplets of an ink composition containing a pigment and resin particles to the fabric; and a treatment solution adhering step of adhering droplets of a treatment solution containing a crosslinking agent to the fabric, in which a maximum weight per droplet of the droplet of the ink composition is 30 ng or less, a maximum weight per droplet of the droplet of the treatment solution is 30 ng or less, and a droplet weight of the treatment solution is equal to or less than a droplet weight of the ink composition.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, INK SET, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
The present disclosure provides an image forming apparatus that improves washing fastness of an image forming portion of a fabric on which a discharge printing ink and a color ink are ejected. An image forming apparatus of the present disclosure includes: a color ink ejector; a discharge printing ink ejector; and a controller, wherein the color ink ejector is configured to eject a color ink containing an aqueous resin emulsion on a fabric, the discharge printing ink ejector is configured to eject a discharge printing ink containing a reducing agent on the fabric, and the controller is configured to control the color ink ejector and the discharge printing ink ejector to eject the color ink on the fabric in a first step, and after the first step, to eject the discharge printing ink on the fabric in a second step.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING TEXTILE ARTICLES AND TEXTILE ARTICLES OBTAINED THEREFROM
The present invention relates to a white fabric with increased opacity as obtainable a process comprising the step of: a) providing at least a fabric; b) treating at least part of said fabric with an aqueous composition comprising titanium dioxide and at least a cross-linkable binder; and c) heating the fabric obtained in step b).
A TEXTILE PRINTING FLUID SET CONTAINING A PRETREATMENT AND A MIXTURE OF PIGMENT AND DISPERSE DYE
The present disclosure provides a fluid set for printing on textile. The fluid set contains a pretreatment composition, and a mixture of a pigment and a disperse dye as the colorant. The blending of a pigment with a disperse dye as the colorant together with a suitable pretreatment composition provides better image quality.
Apparatus and method for pretreatment of printable fabrics
Disclosed is an apparatus for pretreatment of printable fabrics, comprising a washer/extractor; a control apparatus connected to the washer/extractor to control said washer/extractor; and a source of pretreatment chemicals to be added to the washer/extractor in a controlled manner by the control apparatus. Also disclosed are methods of pretreating fabrics using the disclosed apparatus.
Ink Jet Ink Composition Set and Ink Jet Recording Method
An ink jet ink composition set includes a white ink jet ink composition and a nonwhite ink jet ink composition. The white ink jet ink composition contains a white pigment, resin particles, and water, and the nonwhite ink jet ink composition contains a nonwhite pigment, resin particles, and water. The white pigment has cation responsiveness, and the absolute value of zeta potential of the white pigment is lower than the absolute value of zeta potential of the nonwhite pigment.
Fabric printable medium
A fabric printable medium comprising a fabric printable medium, with an image-side and a back-side, comprising a fabric base substrate; an image-receiving coating layer, applied on the image-side of printable medium, comprising a first and a second crosslinked polymeric network; a fire retarding barrier layer, applied to the back-side of the printable medium comprising polymeric binder and filler particles with flame retardancy properties; and, at least, a migration control finish layer comprising a film-formable polymer and a flame retardant agent, at a coat-weight ranging from about 0.5 to 10 gsm. Also disclosed are the method for making such fabric printable medium and the method for producing printed images using said material.
