MULTICOMPONENT PUR COMPOSITION
The instant disclosure generally relates to a multicomponent composition for coloring mammalian or synthetic keratin fibers, the multicomponent composition comprising first, second, third and fourth components. The first component includes an organic polymer, the second component includes an in situ linking material, the third component includes a base compound and the fourth component includes a catalyst or other substance. One or more of the components includes pigment microparticles. The multicomponent composition in situ links upon application, forms a solid coating on treated material such as hair and has a substantially long color remanence following development. Methods of using such compositions are also described herein.
RUB-RESISTANT INKJET COMPOSITION
Provided herein is an ink immobilizing composition that includes colloidal wax particles and a property-adjusting agent, being capable of causing immobilization of a property-sensitive ink composition upon contact therebetween on the surface of a substrate, as well as a process of printing a rub-resistant image, a kit for printing a rub-resistant image, and a substrate having a rub-resistant image printed thereon.
Ink-Jet Printing Process
A process for printing on a textile substrate comprising the steps of: (I) preparing an ink comprising the following components: (a) from 1 to 8 parts of a self-dispersible pigment which comprises a carboxy-functional dispersant crosslinked around a pigment core by a crosslinking agent having at least two groups selected from oxetane, carbodiimide, hydrazide, oxazoline, aziridine, isocyanate, N-methylol, keteneimine, isocyanurate and epoxy groups; (b) from 0 to 16 parts of a binder selected from one or more of an acrylic latex binder, a styrene acrylic latex binder and a styrene butadiene latex binder wherein the binder has a Tg in the range of from 25 C. to 35 C.; (c) from 1 to 30 parts of one or more water-miscible organic solvents (d) from 0.1 to 3 parts of a surfactant; (e) from 0 to 5 parts of biocide; (f) from 0 to 10 parts of a viscosity modifier; (g) from 0 to 10 parts of a polyurethane latex binder with a Tg in the range of from 25 C. to 35 C.; (h) from 0 to 6 parts of a cross linking agent; and (i) the balance to 100 parts water: (II) optionally preparing a latex binders solution comprising; i) from 1 to 16 parts of one or more latex binders selected from an acrylic latex binder, a styrene acrylic latex binder and a styrene butadiene latex binder where the latex binder(s) have a Tg in the range of from 25 C. to 35 C.; ii) from 0 to 6 parts of a polyurethane latex binder; and iii) from 0 to 5 parts of a cross linking agent: (III) printing the ink prepared in step (I) on to a textile substrate using a ink jet printer with a single pass print head and optionally pre-printing or overprinting with the latex binder solution from step (II) (IV) curing the printed textile substrate from step (III): provided that if component (b) in the ink prepared in step (a) is 0 then optional step (II) is compulsory. Also inks, ink-sets, ink containers and ink-jet printers.
INK EMULSION COMPOSITION AND WATER-BASED INK
Disclosed is an ink emulsion composition that, when used as an ink composition, retains a high concentration of a colorant and exhibits good re-dispersibility after drying, and that causes no change in the physical properties of the ink when stored for a long period of time. The ink emulsion composition contains: (A) a dye and/or a pigment; (B) a styrene-(meth)acrylic copolymer; and (C) a compound in an amount of more than 0.18 mass %, the compound (C) being represented by formula (1):

HIGH PERFORMANCE FIBRES COMPOSITE SHEET
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite sheet comprising high performance polyethylene fibres and a polymeric resin comprising the steps of assembling HPPE fibres to a sheet, applying an aqueous suspension of a polymeric resin to the HPPE fibres, partially drying the aqueous suspension, optionally applying a temperature and/or a pressure treatment to the composite sheet wherein the polymeric resin is a homopolymer or copolymer of ethylene and/or propylene. The invention further relates to composite sheets obtainable by said method and articles comprising the composite sheet such as helmets, radomes or a tarpaulins.
PRETREATMENT LIQUID, INK SET, AND RECORDING METHOD
A pretreatment liquid for use in ink jet pigment textile printing contains at least one of a resin dispersion and a cross-linker, a lubricant, and water.
PRINTING AGENT, PRINTING AGENT PRODUCTION METHOD, AND CLOTH ARTICLE
An object to be achieved by the present invention is to provide a textile printing agent which has less coarse particles and which forms a printed portion having excellent printing properties, especially excellent fastness to washing and excellent fastness to rubbing. The present invention is directed to a textile printing agent which contains a polyhalogenated metallophthalocyanine pigment or a diketopyrrolopyrrole pigment, water, an organic solvent, a binder resin, and, as a pigment dispersant, a polymer (A) having an anionic group, a solubility in water of 0.1 g/100 ml or less, and a number average molecular weight of 1,000 to 6,000, wherein the polymer (A) forms fine particles in water when the polymer (A) is neutralized such that the neutralization rate of the anionic group by a basic compound is 100%.
Method for image formation and textile fiber products
A required portion of a textile fiber product is subjected to a fiber-modifying treatment by applying a fiber-modifying agent containing at least an aqueous polyvalent cationic salt solution and a urethane resin having a blocked isocyanate group at the end thereof, after which a masking ink containing at least a white or light-colored pigment, a water-soluble polymer dispersing agent, a self-emulsifying urethane resin and/or an acrylic resin having an acid value of 40 to 100 mg KOH/g, and an aqueous liquid as a solvent or disperse medium, is printed by an inkjet process.
INK SET FOR TEXTILE PRINTING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTED TEXTILE ITEM
An ink set for textile printing is disclosed which includes a pretreatment liquid containing a metal salt, a water-dispersible resin (A), an organic solvent (B) having an SP value of 10 to 14 (cal/cm.sup.3).sup.1/2 and water, and an ink containing a pigment, a water-dispersible resin (C) having a glass transition point of 10 C. or higher, an organic solvent (D) and water. A method for producing a printed textile item is also disclosed.
METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PRINTED TEXTILES
A method for manufacturing printed textiles including the steps of: a) inkjet printing an image onto a textile substrate with one or more inkjet printing liquids containing thermally reactive composite resin particles in an aqueous medium; and b) fixing the inkjet printed image by applying directly and/or indirectly a heat treatment to the image; wherein the thermally reactive composite resin particles contain at least one thermal cross-linker and at least one polymeric resin containing functional groups suitable for reacting with the thermal cross-linker.
