Turnout arrangement with elastically supported turnout bases
12252847 · 2025-03-18 · ·

A turnout arrangement of a slab track with a ballastless superstructure for forming a main track (1) and a branch track (2) which branches off from the main track for railway traffic has a plurality of prefabricated turnout bases (3) of untensioned reinforced concrete, a casting compound (5), which is cast and hardened between the aligned turnout bases and the ground (4), a plurality of fastening areas (6) which are rail support points (7) provided on the turnout bases for the rail fastening of the main track, the branch track, and further turnout components. The turnout bases of the turnout arrangement are elastically supported, and each turnout base is provided with a positive-locking arrangement for positively holding the turnout base horizontally with respect to the casting compound. An elastic layer (8) is provided between a projection (13) of an element of the positive-locking arrangement and the turnout base.

Modular slab and modular surface system

A removable modular slab for use in the construction industry includes an upper surface, a lower surface, first and second opposing end surfaces, and a conduit extending from an aperture in the upper surface to an aperture in an end surface. The slab is end-to-end abuttable with a second removable modular slab, having: (i) a conduit extending from an aperture in the upper surface to an aperture in an end surface, and/or (ii) a cavity extending from an aperture in an end surface into the slab, whereby the conduits are mateable so as to form an elongate conduit through the two slabs. Such elongate conduit is accessible through the apertures in the upper surfaces of each slab. By such access, a first joining structure is removably locatable to join the two slabs together. Cavities may terminate within the second slab and only be accessible through the aperture in the upper surface of the first slab, into which a joining structure is removably locatable to join the two slabs together. A modular surface system includes two such slabs and a joining structure to join the two slabs together.

Ballastless track section for a rail vehicle

The invention relates to a ballastless track section for a rail vehicle, said section being fastened to a platform (10) and comprising: a prefabricated concrete track slab (20, 120) comprising two stringers (21, 22); a rounded bearing surface (21c, 22c) borne by an underside of each stringer at each longitudinal end and having a curvature, the center of curvature of which is the top of a rail (21b, 22b) borne by the stringer; a prefabricated support pad (30, 130) for supporting each longitudinal end of the slab (20, 120) and comprising at least two support bases (33, 34) for the two stringers of this longitudinal end of the slab, each base (33, 34) comprising at least one shim (33a, 34a) of predetermined thickness supporting said rounded bearing surface (21c, 22c) of the stringer of said slab facing this base.
