Contact system

A contact system employs a swing link (1) to drive set of movable contacts (5) to engage with a left or right set of contacts (24, 25) respectively on two sides thereof, so as to achieve indication of a separate or closure position. Particularly, a drive shaft (2) along with an operating plate (3) and a snap plate (4) on the drive shaft (2) are driven by the swing link (1) to change a motion trajectory of a roller (10) on a movable contact shaft (12), aided by action of a snap-action claw (11) and a tension spring (9), thereby achieving, quick action of set of movable contacts (5), and realizing a contact with or disconnection from set of fixed contacts (6) to achieve indication of the separation or in closure position. The system has a simple structure and a small size, responds quickly and accurately, and is cheap to manufacture, install, and maintain.

MODULAR TRACK SWITCH ADJUSTMENT BAR
20180142424 · 2018-05-24 ·

The invention refers to an adjustment bar for modular track switch, according to this invention, it consists of an elongated bar body, transversally placed underneath the track switch points, which comprises two fixation elements on specific areas to be fixed, through fixation means, to the inner section of the plate of every track switch point, in order to maintain a constant separation of such pair of points, within a track switch assembly. Such elongated bar body must include, at least on one end, some boreholes for the insertion of fixation means to fix such end of the adjustment bar to an actuation bar, connected to a switch shaft to allow the mechanical activation to pull or push such actuation bar to move the points.

GUIDE RAIL SUPPORT SUITABLE FOR WITHSTANDING FORCES TRANSVERSE TO A RAILWAY TRACK, AND ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SUCH A GUIDE RAIL SUPPORT
20180127923 · 2018-05-10 ·

Guide rail support (10) intended to withstand forces (F) exerted in a direction (T) transverse to a railway track on a guide rail (5) extending in a longitudinal direction (L) of the railway track. The guide rail comprises: a front face (31) in the transverse direction for supporting the guide rail (5) or an attachment part (23) of the guide rail, a lower face (33) in a third direction (V) substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction, wherein the lower face transversely comprises at least one front section (43) and one rear section (45), and at least one reinforcement rib (35) transversely linking the front face and the rear section.

The rear section and the front section respectably define, in a contact plane (P) of the lower face with the rail support, two distinct contact surfaces (47, 49) separated by a section (51) of the contact plane and devoid of any contact with the lower face, while the reinforcement rib spans the said section.

Foreign material removing device of track turnout portion

There is provided a foreign material removing device of a track turnout portion which can tightly attach and fix nozzles to a rail belly portion stably without machining a rail itself. A foreign material removing device of a track turnout portion which has point rails which can move to contact and move away from stock rails of the track turnout portion, and which removes a foreign material dropped between the stock rail and the point rail, includes a piping unit which includes a plurality of nozzle portions which spray compressed air to remove the foreign material, and the piping unit includes a close-contact arrangement structure in which the piping unit is arranged in close contact with a lateral surface of the stock rail opposed to the point rail.

A railroad switching apparatus utilizing a tie which is positioned under rails and points used in switching railroad cars. A support is interposed the tie and the rails and points and includes a passageway to guide the first and second indicator bars which are attached to the points. A slider is also employed at the attachment point of the indicator bars to the points to accommodate the thermal expansion and contraction of the rails and points. The indicator bars are formed into a coaxial unit in order to allow simple observation of the relative movement between the first and second indicator bars to determine proper movement of the points relative to the rails.
