A system and method for automating railroad maintenance for a tie gang using electronic tie marking (ETM) configured to optimize railroad asset maintenance. The system enables the automating of an adaptive maintenance process for the asset that is being maintainanced. MOBILE CRANE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for a mobile crane are provided. In particular, systems and methods are provided for a mobile crane that is designed to enable easy transportation on a railcar to and from a job site. The mobile crane facilitates quick changing between a transport configuration and a work configuration to enable increased productivity. The mobile crane is configured to be modular and thereby be configured to include various lifting and object manipulating features, as required by a specific application.
Method for unloading, transporting and installing a railway track
The invention relates to a method for unloading, transporting and installing a railway track, which does not require the rail-carrying train to be brought closer after each cycle of unloading continuous welded rail (CWR), the train remaining parked at the end of the track already laid until all the CWR has been completely unloaded. According to the invention, the method consists of: fastening two rails to a crane of an unloading wagon and moving same through windows along the wagon, facilitating the descent thereof to the track; transferring the rails to a machine for pulling and positioning which moves along, leaving the rails supported on transport elements that move along the track already laid; transferring the rails from the track already laid to a section of sleepers; and moving the rails to their final position, using sliding elements placed on the sleepers.
Method for unloading, transporting and installing a railway track

System for securing railway apparatus equipped with a securing mechanism, and associated transport method and vehicle
A system for securing a railway apparatus includes a support platform and a mechanism for securing the railway apparatus to the support platform, capable of switching from an unlocked state to a locked state. The securing mechanism has a guide rail, a trolley guided by the guide rail along a path which, when the support platform is in the loading position, is parallel to a reference plane, a device for immobilizing the trolley relative to the guide rail, an attachment member for attaching the railway apparatus secured to the trolley; and locking members for locking the guide rail relative to the support platform, which switch from an unlocked position to a locked position when the securing mechanism switches from the unlocked state to the locked state in the loading position of the platform, by urging the guide rail downwards relative to the support platform.
System for securing railway apparatus equipped with a securing mechanism, and associated transport method and vehicle
A system for securing a railway apparatus includes a support platform and a mechanism for securing the railway apparatus to the support platform, capable of switching from an unlocked state to a locked state. The securing mechanism has a guide rail, a trolley guided by the guide rail along a path which, when the support platform is in the loading position, is parallel to a reference plane, a device for immobilizing the trolley relative to the guide rail, an attachment member for attaching the railway apparatus secured to the trolley; and locking members for locking the guide rail relative to the support platform, which switch from an unlocked position to a locked position when the securing mechanism switches from the unlocked state to the locked state in the loading position of the platform, by urging the guide rail downwards relative to the support platform.
DEVICE FOR SECURING A RAILWAY APPARATUS
A device for securing a railway apparatus, comprising a support platform and a mechanism for securing the apparatus on the platform, the securing mechanism comprising: at least one guiding slide extending in a longitudinal direction, supported by the support platform; and a member for attaching the apparatus to the platform capable of moving along the guiding slide. The securing mechanism also comprises an upper beam supporting the guiding slide and a lower beam, connected by means of a connecting member so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guiding slide. Moreover, the securing mechanism comprises locking mechanism configured to prevent the movement of the upper beam with respect to the lower beam in said perpendicular direction.
DEVICE FOR SECURING A RAILWAY APPARATUS
A device for securing a railway apparatus, comprising a support platform and a mechanism for securing the apparatus on the platform, the securing mechanism comprising: at least one guiding slide extending in a longitudinal direction, supported by the support platform; and a member for attaching the apparatus to the platform capable of moving along the guiding slide. The securing mechanism also comprises an upper beam supporting the guiding slide and a lower beam, connected by means of a connecting member so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guiding slide. Moreover, the securing mechanism comprises locking mechanism configured to prevent the movement of the upper beam with respect to the lower beam in said perpendicular direction.
