20190284766 · 2019-09-19 ·

The object of the invention relates to a rail mounting device (10) for fixing railway rails (12) to reinforced concrete sleepers (14) which device (10) has a first rail (12) non-fixing state and a second rail (12) fixing state, and which device (10) contains an anchoring element (18) fixed to the reinforced concrete sleeper (14) provided with an open or closed bracket piece (16), and a rail-clamping plate (20) partially or entirely encompassed by the bracket piece (16) of the anchoring element (18), the essence of which is that the rail-clamping plate (20) is a flexible flat plate, and the anchoring element (18) of the rail mounting device (10) has an upper surface which is formed substantially flat and which is at an angle to the upper plane (22) of the reinforced concrete sleeper (14) such that the distance between the first edge of the upper surface of the anchoring element (18) closer to the rail (12) and the upper plane (22) of the reinforced concrete sleeper (14) is smaller than the distance between the second edge of the upper surface of the anchoring element (18) more distant from the rail (12) and the upper plane (22) of the reinforced concrete sleeper (14), and in the first state of the rail mounting device (10) the rail-clamping plate (20) lies on the upper surface of the anchoring element (18), whereby the rail-clamping plate (20) is also arranged at an angle to the upper plane (22) of the reinforced concrete sleeper (14) and in the first state of the rail mounting device (10), the angle between the rail-clamping plate (20) and the upper plane (22) of the reinforced concrete sleeper (14) is between 5 to 20 degrees and the rail-clamping plate (20) is made from a maximum of 6 mm thick cut sheet steel.

The object of the invention also relates to a method for fixing railway rails (12) to reinforced concrete sleepers (14).

Tie plate centering and inserting machine

A tie plate inserter assembly on a track mounted machine is provided that is configured to ensure appropriate location of a tie plate and a tie relative to a rail of a railway. The assembly includes a frame supported, at least indirectly, on a chassis of the machine and having a tie plate clamp assembly that includes a self-centering mechanism that centers the tie plate relative to a longitudinal centerline the tie. The tie plate clamp assembly has a first clamp plate and a second clamp plate configured to clamp together to hold the tie plate. The tie clamp assembly also has first and second clamp plates configured to clamp together to hold the tie in place. The assembly may additionally include a tie clamp assembly that can actuated to center the tie relative to a reference point on the frame.

Novel systems and methods are disclosed for fully automated creation of plated ties and/or pre-fabricated sections of railroad track away from and for shipment to an installation site.

RAILWAY TRACK MAINTENANCE TROLLEY
20190211511 · 2019-07-11 ·

A railway track trolley includes a pair of carriages and a workhead mounted to at least one of the pair of carriages. The carriage is adapted to locate on one of a pair of railway track whereas the other carriage locates on the other railway track. The carriages are interconnected via a coupling assembly to permit independent sliding of the carriages relative to one another. In operation, at least one of the carriages is moved along the corresponding railway track wherein its associated workhead is adapted to implement work at that railway track.

A tie plate straightener includes a plurality of rollers having varying cross-section and differing elevations. The tie plate straightener includes directional wheels between the rollers and disposed in alignment with the lower elevations of the rollers. The straightener receives tie plates at an input and rotates the tie plates when the tie plate engages the directional wheels. The tie plate is thereby oriented and/or positioned so that the tie plate is supported above the directional wheels.

Device and method for separating other track material
