SYNERGISTIC TRAFFIC INTERSECTION
The present invention provides a traffic intersection located at an intersection of two multilane roads, each road comprising a plurality of traffic lanes spaced adjacent each other, the traffic intersection comprising an intersection region wherein the surface area of the intersecting roads overlap, a proximate region in which each road approaching the intersection defines at least one turning right lane for guiding vehicles to turn right at the intersection onto the intersecting road, at least one going straight lane for guiding vehicles to move straight through the intersection on the same road and at least one going straight receiving lane for receiving vehicles moving straight through the intersection.

Modular Roundabout System with Interconnectable Boards
A modular roundabout or traffic calming system with interlocking connectors and a method of installation are provided. A plurality of boards is arranged in a pattern on a ground surface at an intersection of vehicle roadways, the pattern including one or both of a central island and a splitter island. At least some of the boards forming a perimeter of the pattern are affixed to the ground surface. At least some of the boards forming interior boards are interconnected at adjacent edges with connectors. The connectors can include a hinge joint so that the interconnected boards can be folded or rolled. A kit for a modular roundabout or traffic calming system is also provided.

A POSITION SELECTING METHOD OF A U-TURN MEDIAN OPENING AT A SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF TRAFFIC FLOW COMPOSITIONS
A position selecting method of a U-turn median opening at a signalized intersection under the influence of traffic flow compositions. In the process of determining the traffic capacity of a left-turn lane, different influences of various vehicle arrival modes on the utilization rate of the left-turn green light and the utilization rate of the U-turn green light are analyzed. A method for the traffic capacity of the left-turn lane with the U-turn median opening at a signalized intersection in combination with traffic management demands and traffic flow space-time characteristics is provided, so that the traffic capacity of the left-turn lane under the influence of actual traffic flow compositions is calculated more accurately.
RUNWAY ARRANGEMENT FOR SIMULTANEOUS LANDING AND TAKE OFF
An airport runway arrangement for commercial aircraft comprises a first runway section, a second runway section extending substantially in prolongation of the first runway section and an intermediate section between the first and second runway sections.

Continuous flow city
A roadway system of sinusoidal one-way roads which surround individual developed areas. A straight bidirectional road intersect the sinusoidal roadways at locations in which the sinusoidal roadways are substantially tangent to one another and orthogonal to the bidirectional road.
Road structure reconstructed from large-scale independent underground garage and construction method thereof
A road structure reconstructed from large-scale independent underground garage and a construction method, which solves the problem of a newly constructed urban expressway passing through large underground space. The technical point is a construction method for the road structure reconstructed from large-scale independent underground garage, including the following steps: S100: segmentation for the garage, S200: preparation before construction: the materials and equipment required for construction are transported to the site, and the construction site is cleaned, S300: reconstruction for the front section, S400: reconstruction for the middle section, S500: reconstruction for the rear section. The inventiveness of the present disclosure is the application of segmentation construction, the front section is completely obsoleted, a transition section is provided at the middle, and the design of the rear section adopts a double-deck road, thus the original underground garage structure is fully utilized.
Continuous Flow City
Continuous Flow City is a new type of urban design that combines Ondulating and Linear Highways in a way that allows the continuos flow of traffic. This urban design can be used to build new cities or expand existing ones. The Ondulating Highways intersect perpendiculary at different levels with Linear Highways connected by interchanges. The Ondulanting Highways are parallel and inverted with respect to the previous one never crossing each other, creating the shape of the human eye. The resulting oculiform spaces in between the Ondulating Highways can be used for residential, commercial, agriculture, recreational, etc. or industrial areas. This highway system is repeated in a modular form, infinitively, throughout the whole development, resulting in a continuous flow highway system. This urban design reduces travel time and accidents by eliminating the need for intersections, traffic lights, stop signs, and other obstructions and allowing drivers to reach a destination without stopping.
