Preformed synthetic turf grids and methods and apparatuses for providing same
Pre-cut (or pre-formed) synthetic turf kits and methods of installing same are provided. Kits or methods may or may not include installation templates of paper, foam or other suitable materials with corresponding insert material spaces and patterns printed or already cut out and removed providing a faster and easier install method. The pre-formed turf can be installed either before or after the paver, stone, brick, tile, or wood insert materials are in place to make beautiful square, circle, rectangular and diagonal patterned turf grid designed hardscapes. This makes installation possible without needing an expensive specialty turf contractor.
UNDERLAYMENT PANEL HAVING DRAINAGE CHANNELS
An impact-absorbing assembly includes a covering layer being one or more of artificial turf, rubber mats, polymer mats, short pile carpeting, particulate infill, wood chips, and ground rubber chips. Also included is a layer of underlayment panels positioned beneath the covering layer. The panels have a panel section with a plurality of drain holes formed therethrough. A top surface of the panels is configured to support the covering layer. A bottom surface of the panels has a plurality of bottom projections that cooperate to define bottom channels suitable to permit water flow across the bottom surface, the bottom channels being in fluid communication with the panel drain holes. The bottom projections define a first spring rate characteristic that is part of a first stage and a second spring rate characteristic is part of a second stage, the first stage having a smaller volume of material than the second stage.
SYSTEM FOR PAVER SUPPORT AND METHOD FOR INSTALLATION
A method for providing a system for supporting a layer of paver blocks, the method including excavating drain holes at a depth corresponding to at least a length of a corresponding drain pipe, forming a base by pouring high porosity non-compactable material into each drain hole of the at least three drain holes, inserting a drain pipe into a corresponding drain hole, filling a hollow of the drain pipe with a non-compactable material, placing a water permeable closure across the top opening of the drain pipe, pouring a concrete layer above the drain hole, and depositing a sand layer above the concrete layer, with the sand layer covering the top opening.
MODULAR MAT SYSTEM WITH SOLAR POWERED ILLUMINATION
A modular mat assembly formed from recycled material and anchored to the ground to form a sidewalk having replaceable sections and enclosed LED lighting for night time illumination.
PHOTOVOLTAIC TRAFFICABLE SURFACE COMPRISING MULTILAYER LAMINATE
The invention is directed to a photovoltaic multilayer laminate, to a method for preparing a photovoltaic multilayer laminate, to a method for preparing a photovoltaic roadway, and to a photovoltaic roadway.
The photovoltaic multilayer laminate of the invention comprises multiple flexible photovoltaic foil elements laminated at least to a carrier layer comprising electrical interconnections for said flexible photovoltaic foil elements, wherein said multiple flexible photovoltaic elements are arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction of the laminate, wherein a stretchable or compressible space is provided between each pair of multiple flexible photovoltaic foil elements.
Method for manufacturing of paver blocks and bricks from industrial waste
A method for manufacturing of paver block and bricks includes addition of cementitious materials, additives, and binding materials. The method also includes homogenization of the added materials to obtain a first mixture, addition of a hardener solution to the first mixture, mixing the first mixture with the hardener solution for 5 to 30 minutes to obtain a second mixture, casting the second mixture into a mold to obtain a solidified part, and curing the solidified part in atmospheric air.
Pre-Cut Synthetic Turf Grids
My invention modifies synthetic turf in its traditional solid roll turf form for distribution and sale by adding a manual or machine design cutting process to change the overall look and shape of the finished turf material offering a new and improved method of design and application allowing seamless integration and use with other materials for hardscape installations.
IMPROVED PREFORMED SYNTHETIC TURF GRIDS AND METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR PROVIDING SAME
