A paving machine can include a frame; a screed coupled to the frame; and the screed including a main screed plate and an extender screed plate, each of the main screed plate and the extender screed plate having an angle sensor associated therewith, the angle sensor for each of the main screed plate and the extender screed plate being positioned and configured to determine a paving angle of the main screed plate and the extender screed plate; and a controller, the controller configured to receive the paving angles of the main screed plate and the extender screed plate from the angle sensors and to change the paving angle of the main screed plate and the paving angle of the extender screed plate independently of each other.

Dielectric Profile Exhaust Drying System
The present invention provides for a profiling mount device for redirecting the exhaust energy of a compactor onto an asphalt surface and a method to use it. The profiling mount device to cause surface moisture located on the asphalt surface to be dried. A dielectric sensor is attached to the profiling mount device such that it can take a dielectric constant reading at the desired location where the exhaust energy dries the asphalt surface. The dielectric constant reading is taken by a dielectric profiling system (DPS). The dielectric profiling system cannot accurately read the dielectric constant of an asphalt section when surface moisture is present.

The present invention provides for a profiling mount device for redirecting the exhaust energy of a compactor onto an asphalt surface and a method to use it. The profiling mount device to cause surface moisture located on the asphalt surface to be dried. A dielectric sensor is attached to the profiling mount device such that it can take a dielectric constant reading at the desired location where the exhaust energy dries the asphalt surface. The dielectric constant reading is taken by a dielectric profiling system (DPS). The dielectric profiling system cannot accurately read the dielectric constant of an asphalt section when surface moisture is present.
Automatic application of local specification
A control unit of a temperature measurement system for a road construction machine; the control unit having access to a database, a plurality of specification data sets stored on the database, each of the plurality of specification data sets being assigned to a local region and including a temperature measurement specification and/or a temperature measurement report specification; including a data set selector and a data analyzer. The data set selector is configured to select a respective specification data set from the plurality based on position information for the road construction machine, the position information pointing to the respective local region. The data analyzer is connected to a temperature sensor and configured to analyze raw data received from the temperature sensor taking into account the selected temperature measurement specification and/or to output a local specific temperature report based on analyzed raw data taking into account the selected temperature measurement report specification.

Road management device
A road management device comprises an arithmetic section that performs a certain analysis on a road using information acquired by a moving body (a vehicle) moving along the road. The arithmetic section performs the certain analysis on the road in a first time slot using first information acquired by a first moving body of a first kind, and performs the certain analysis on the road in a second time slot using second information acquired by a second moving body of a second kind.
Container for a road paver assembly
The disclosure refers to a container for storing and providing at least one modular road paver assembly designed for detachable mounting on a road paver. The container comprises a storage system by means of which individual components of the road paver assembly can be positioned within the container in a standardized arrangement, such that the components of the road paver assembly can be checked for completeness by an operator by means of a visual inspection along a sequence determined between opposite boundaries of the container in view of their assembly sequence on the road paver.
