ARTIFICIAL FLAGSTONE FOR PROVIDING A SURFACE WITH A NATURAL RANDOM LOOK
An artificial flagstone for use in combination with other similar flagstones for covering a surface with a natural random look, the flagstone having a generally hexagonal body comprising a first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth consecutive vertices; a first pair of first and second sides extending radially from the first vertex; a second pair of third and fourth sides extending radially from the third vertex; a third pair of fifth and sixth sides extending radially from the fifth vertex; wherein the sides of at least one of the first, second and third pair of sides have at least one split deviation along their length and are respectively rotational images of each other, and the artificial flagstone has no rotational symmetry when rotated about a central axis.
Paving stone and paving slab as well as paving ceiling or slab covering made from the same
A paving stone or paving slab, comprising a base, which is provided with a load-joint locking and displacement prevention means and has a multiplicity of base side faces and a head, which is arranged on the base and has a head upper side and a multiplicity of head side faces, the head on its head upper side having a smaller periphery in horizontal section than a nominal-dimension-based periphery of the base and the head side faces being designed such that, in the laid state of the paving stone or the paving slab, they form, together with a head side face of an adjacent identical or similar paving stone or identical or similar paving slab, a surface joint with a surface-joint width which is the same as or larger than a load-joint width of a load joint between bases of adjacent identical or similar paving stones or identical or similar paving slabs, the joint axes of the load joint and of the surface joint lying one on top of the other in the polysurface and the load joint and the surface joint being connected to one another, and a paved surface or block paving composed thereof.
Paving slab for forming a random pattern
A paving slab. The paving slab has a unitary body made of concrete-based material, the body having sidewalls extending between top and bottom faces, providing the body with a thickness. The top face is provided with longitudinal false joints defining rows extending from a first to a second side of the unitary body. The first side has a staggered outline and the second side has a stepped outline, the first and second sides being able to engage with respective first and second sides of an adjacent slab shaped as the paving slab, but rotated by 180 degrees. When several of the slabs are assembled on a surface, it creates an illusion that the surface is covered by individual plank pavers randomly assembled.
PATIO BLOCKS AND BLOCK SYSTEMS WITH SIDE SURFACE POSITIONING AND RETAINING STRUCTURES
A landscaping block having a block body with at least a first side surface, a second side surface, a third side surface and a fourth side surface, and opposed and substantially parallel top and bottom surfaces. The patio block having at least one spacer projection extending outwardly from each of the at least first, second, third and fourth side surfaces. The patio block having at least one spacer locator positioned along each one of the first, second, third and fourth side surfaces. The at least one spacer locator positioned along each side surface has a retaining surface shaped to receive a spacer projection, at least a portion of the retaining surface extending outwardly from the side surface.
PORCELAIN TILE INSTALLATIONS FOR VEHICULAR USE
A method includes compacting an aggregate bed to obtain a compacted tile bed surface of a tile bed; installing a plurality of porcelain tiles between a plurality of spacers on the compacted tile bed surface, wherein each of the plurality of spacers comprises: a base component; and a plurality of vertical components supported by the base component, each vertical component comprising a tapered shape on an interior end of the vertical component; adding a polymeric sand composition to a first joint in an intermediate porcelain tile installation to obtain a first joint-filled porcelain tile surface; compacting the first joint-filled porcelain tile surface; and activating the polymeric sand composition in the first joint-filled porcelain tile surface.
SHAPED BLOCK FOR FLOORS
A shaped block for floors, including a main body having a top side, an underside and at least one side surface, wherein at least one spacer element for specifying a joint width is arranged on the at least one side surface, the at least one spacer element comprising a first rib and a second rib which is spaced apart from the first rib, the first rib and the second rib both extending from the underside toward the top side of the shaped block. A draining device can be formed by means of the spacer element and another, identically designed spacer element of an additional shaped block, the draining device including a water discharge channel which is delimited by the second rib, and the spacer element includes an additional discharge element for discharging liquids into the water discharge channel.
PAVING STONE HAVING BUMPERS ON THE SIDES THEREOF, A GROUP OF PAVING STONES ARRANGED TOGETHER, A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PAVING STONES FOR GROUP INTALLATION, AND A METHOD FOR INSTALLING A PLURALITY OF PAVING STONES
A paving stone includes: (a) a paving stone having a top surface, a bottom surface, and at least one side surface extending from the top surface to the bottom surface; and (b) a bumper pattern comprising at least one bumper formed on the at least one side surface of the paving stone by molding a polymeric material onto the at least one side surface of the paving stone. A group of paving stones arranged together includes: (a) a plurality of paving stones, each paving stone having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of side surfaces extending from the top surface to the bottom surface; (b) a bumper pattern formed on the plurality of side surfaces of each of the plurality of paving stones by molding a polymeric material; and (c) the plurality of paving stones being arranged together so that the bumper pattern is located between adjacent ones of the plurality of paving stones to provide a gap therebetween. Methods of preparing a plurality of paving stones and installing a plurality of paving stones are provided.
