The support layer is further included in an artificial turf system, that includes an artificial turf assembly with the support layer supported on a base surface such as a layer of sand, wherein the support layer forms, at the upper sides thereof, a closed support surface supporting the artificial turf assembly.
Ground Stabilization Grid
A ground stabilization grid which includes a series of polygonal shaped cells having x sides. The cells are formed by polymer walls having a wall height of between about 1 and about 6. Each cell shares a common wall section with at least two adjacent cells; and a majority of cells within the grid includes at least two reinforcing ribs extending across the cell to engage opposing walls of the cell. The reinforcing ribs are characterized by (i) engaging the cell walls between about 25% and about 75% of the wall height, and (ii) extending between different opposing walls of the cell.
Padding layer for athletic field
Various embodiments for a panel that may be combined with other similar panels to form a padding layer of an athletic field, or other surface, are disclosed. The panel for use in a padding layer of a panel system includes a top side having a center configured to support a top layer, the top side having a surface that slopes downwards from the center of the top side to edges of the panel, where the top side comprises top-side projections having a height varied from other ones of the top-side projections. The panel includes a bottom side having a plurality of bottom-side projections and a drainage hole that fluidly couples top-side projections with bottom-side projections.
Support layer for supporting an artificial turf assembly, and artificial turf system
A support layer for supporting an artificial turf assembly. Floor matting
Floor mats comprising two layers bonded together with an undulating boundary between them. The surface color and/or surface texture of the first layer being different from the surface color and/or surface texture of the second layer. The mats having an interlocking periphery boundary adapted so the mats can be interlocked with adjoining mats to form a continuous planar mat flooring.
Securely interconnectable modules for use in constructing a pathway for traffic
A module for use in constructing a pathway for traffic comprises a base member that defines a lateral groove disposed at its perimeter edge and extending along a first end, and a tongue structure disposed at its perimeter edge and extending along a second end. The tongue structure is received in the lateral groove and comprises a plurality of tongue portions that includes a first type of tongue portion and a second type of tongue portion disposed in alternating relation along the length of the tongue structure, to thereby define a throughpassage for receiving a securing rod. The first and second tongue portions have no vertical overlap one with the other. To form a pathway for traffic, the modules are placed in perimeter-edge to perimeter-edge relation, with the tongue structure of the modules inserted into the lateral groove of an adjacent module, and are secured together by the securing rod.
Integrated assembly type grass protection mat and method of constructing the same
A grass protection mat comprises a body where grass passing spaces are continuously arranged and an outer frame comprising four frames formed in four directions to finish an outer edge of the body, wherein the grass protection mat further comprises at least one hook fastener which horizontally protrudes from a first lateral frame of the outer frame toward a second lateral frame of an outer frame of a neighboring grass protection mat, and wherein the at least one hook fastener is fastened to at least one fastening hole provided in the outer frame of the second grass protection mat adjacent to the first lateral frame and corresponding to the hook fastener of the grass protection mat.
Modular Flooring Tiles and System
Modular floor tiles include a first surface configured to receive weight. The first surface is supported by primary walls interior to and extending the full height of the tiles, and which may be intersecting to form a grid. Secondary walls of a lesser height support the primary walls, may be non-linear such as circular, and may support either side of vertices of intersecting primary walls. Joining members and corresponding receivers in the sides of tiles are dimensioned to engage one another from adjacent tiles to join the tiles and restrict lateral movement. Fastener(s) in each tile are associated with slots and may be selectively moved between unlocked and locked positions to restrict vertical movement. Some embodiments include cable channels with corresponding cover plates, and inclined portions providing ramps. Any number and combination of tiles may be connected to one another to form a modular flooring system.
