A road paver comprises a tractor vehicle with a material hopper for receiving paving material and a paving screed for compacting paving material. The paving screed comprises at least one electric heating device for heating the paving screed. The road paver comprises at least one electric switching assembly configured to switch an electric power supply of the electric heating device. The electric switching assembly comprises an electric parallel circuit of two switching devices, wherein the electric parallel circuit of the two switching devices forms a series electric circuit with the electric heating device.
METHOD FOR THE FORESIGHTED CONTROL OF A ROAD FINISHER
According to one variant, a road finisher having a primary drive unit, a material hopper and a paving screed with a screed heating system that can be operated by energy generated by the primary drive unit is controlled. The screed heating system is operated to heat the screed during paving operation of the road finisher by controlling a temperature of the screed to a predetermined screed operating temperature value or to a predetermined screed operating temperature range. The road finisher anticipates a future operating state of increased energy demand of the road finisher. When a future operating state of increased energy demand has been detected, the screed heating system is operated to heat the screed beyond the predetermined screed operating temperature value or the predetermined screed operating temperature range. When the operating state of increased energy demand is reached, the screed heating system is at least temporarily deactivated.

A screed system includes a screed plate and a plurality of pressure sensors coupled to the screed plate and configured to sense a weight of the screed plate. A method for positioning screed system includes receiving pressure information from a plurality of pressure sensors engaged with a screed plate; determining a pressure distribution across the screed plate based on the pressure information; determining, based on the determined pressure distribution across the screed plate, an angle of attack of the screed plate; and adjusting the angle of attack of the screed plate.
System, apparatus, and method for using integrated generator in a mobile machine as jobsite charging station
A system, apparatus, and method may operatively couple to an integrated generator that supplies power to a component of a mobile machine that intermittently demands power during operation of the mobile machine and to a charging station. On condition that the component in the mobile machine does not need power, power may be supplied to the charging station. On condition that an electric mobile machine is connected to the charging station, power from the charging station may be supplied to the electric mobile machine. Otherwise, power may be supplied to the charging station in an energy accumulator to store the power.

PAVEMENT REPAIR SYSTEM
A pavement repair system is provided utilizing solid phase auto regenerative cohesion and homogenization by liquid asphalt oligopolymerization technologies. The system is suitable for use in repairing asphalt pavement, including pavement exhibiting a high degree of deterioration (as manifested in the presence of potholes, cracks, ruts, or the like) as well as pavement that has been subject to previous repair and may comprise a substantial amount of dirt and other debris (e.g., chipped road paint or other damaged or disturbed surfacing materials). A system utilizing homogenization by liquid asphalt oligopolymerization is suitable for rejuvenating or repairing aged asphalt, thereby improving properties of the paving material.

A construction machine for building or finishing a road, such as a road finisher, comprises at least a working equipment, a display unit and a plurality of sensors. Each sensor is adapted to measure a value of an operating parameter of the construction machine. The sensors are adapted to output data corresponding to the measured values to the display unit, and the display unit is adapted to output a representation of at least a part of the construction machine together with the measured values of the operating parameters.
ROAD FINISHER WITH POWER ADJUSTERS FOR ELECTRIC PAVING SCREED HEATING DEVICES
A road finisher comprises a towing vehicle including a material hopper at a front in a paving travel direction for receiving paving material, and a paving screed which is pulled behind the towing vehicle in the paving travel direction for compacting paving material. A generator for providing electrical power is provided on the towing vehicle. A plurality of electric heating devices is provided on the paving screed for heating the paving screed. The road finisher further comprises a power distribution arrangement having a line network configured to supply the heating devices with power provided by the generator. The power distribution arrangement comprises a plurality of power adjusters provided on the paving screed and each power adjusted is associated with one of the heating devices. The road finisher comprises a control device configured to control the power adjusters to individually dynamically adjust the power supplied to the respectively associated heating device.
