A mobile earth working machine (10), for example a road milling machine, recycler, or surface miner, includes: a working apparatus (12) for material-removing working of a region of a substrate (U); and an extraction device (40) that is embodied to extract dust-laden air from at least one machine region at at least one extraction location (46), and to exhaust extracted air at a discharge location (50) different from the extraction location (46), the extraction device (40) comprising a filter apparatus (42) arranged along an operational flow path from the at least one extraction location (46) to the discharge location (50), the filter apparatus (42) encompassing: a filter housing (54); a filter element (52) received in the filter housing (54), the filter element (52) being embodied to remove dust particles from the air flowing through the filter apparatus (42); and a cleaning apparatus (76) that is embodied to remove from the filter element (52) dust particles that accumulate on the filter element (52) during filtering operation. Provision is made that the filter element (52) is received in the filter housing (54) rotatably around a rotation axis (D), the filter apparatus (42) comprising a rotary drive system (70) that is embodied to impart rotation to the filter element (50).
GROUND MILLING MACHINE WITH DUST REMOVAL DEVICE AND SERVICE TUNNEL AND METHOD
A ground milling machine, in particular a road milling machine, recycler or stabilizer, comprising a milling drum, rotatably mounted in a milling-drum housing, for removing ground material, a milled-material conveying apparatus for transporting the removed ground material from the milling-drum housing to a discharge point, and a dust extraction apparatus for extracting dust-containing air from a region of the milled-material conveying apparatus, the dust extraction apparatus comprising at least one extraction line, which opens into the region of the milled-material conveying apparatus via an extraction opening, the ground milling machine comprising a left side wall, a right side wall, a front wall and a rear wall, and wherein a maintenance tunnel is provided which is designed such that it establishes an access connection, accessible from outside the ground milling machine, between the extraction opening and one of the side walls, the front wall or the rear wall of the ground milling machine. The invention also relates to a method for the maintenance of a dust extraction apparatus for extracting dust-containing air from a milled-material conveying apparatus of a ground milling machine.
Dust suppressant and soil stabilization composition comprising lignocellulosic byproducts
Provided is a solvent borne dust suppressant or stabilization composition in a solvent which includes, a blend of an inorganic salt and a lignin-carbohydrate mixture, optionally with one or more of a surfactant and crosslinker, wherein the lignin-carbohydrate mixture may be a copolymer and may be present in an amount of 5 weight % to 50 weight % solids, wherein the lignin is a low average molecular weight lignin, the carbohydrate includes hemicellulose and wherein the lignin and hemicellulose are substantially derived from a non-wood source, a wood source or a blend thereof.

Ride-On Roadway Maintenance Machine
A self-propelled roadway maintenance machine has an operator's station located on a front portion of the machine's chassis and including a forward-facing operator's seat. A driven implement, such as a crack routing cutter drum for routing cracks in a roadway surface, is mounted on the front portion of the chassis in a location that can be monitored by a forward-facing operator while controlling machine steering and propulsion. The implement may be removably mounted on the chassis by a quick-connect coupling. If the implement comprises a crack routing clutter drum, a plurality of peripherally spaced cutter wheel assemblies may be mounted between disks of the cutter drum, each cutter wheel assembly including a pin and first and second bushings that support the pin on the disks and that are removably inserted into respective bores in the disks. Machine steering and propulsion and implement operation may all be effected hydraulically.

The filter apparatus (42) comprises a deformation actuator arrangement (44, 76a) that interacts force-transferringly with at least one wall (86) of the filter housing (54) in such a way that by actuation of the deformation actuator arrangement (44, 76a), the at least one wall (86) of the filter housing (54) is deformable orthogonally to its wall surface.

The filter apparatus (42) comprises a bypass valve (60) shiftable between two different operating positions, such that a filtering operating position connects the at least one extraction location (46) to the exhaust location (50) with passage through the filter element (52); and a bypass operating position connects the at least one extraction location (46) to the exhaust location (50) while bypassing the filter element (52).

Provision is made that the filter element (52) is received in the filter housing (54) rotatably around a rotation axis (D), the filter apparatus (42) comprising a rotary drive system (70) that is embodied to impart rotation to the filter element (50).

In a road milling machine (1), comprising a machine frame (6), at least three travelling devices (2, 3), wherein at least two travelling devices (3) are drivable and at least one travelling device (2) is steerable, at least one milling drum (11) for working the ground pavement (4), at least one extraction device (12) for extracting air contaminated with dusts and vapours, it is provided for the following features to be achieved: the extraction device (12) comprises at least one first exhaust air pipe (13) with at least one first pipe section (24) with at least one first cross-section (26) and at least one second pipe section (20) with at least one second cross-section (22), wherein the second cross-section (22) is smaller than the first cross-section (26), wherein a suction channel (18) comprises an inlet opening (30) and an outlet opening, wherein the outlet opening (28) opens into the exhaust air pipe (13) in the area of the second pipe section (20), wherein the air contaminated with dusts and vapours can be sucked in at the inlet opening (30).
Grinder truck
A grinder truck with a computer controlled profiler in combination with a vehicle automated guidance system for guiding a vehicle and equipment secured to a vehicle for removing of road markings. The computer controlled profiler detects the position of one or more grinding, grooving, rumbling heads in the X, Y and Z position. A controller and one or more actuators are manipulated in response to ground markings visible in a camera field. A remote controller allows an operator to control grinder heads individually, and allows for precise adjustment based upon an operator's visual inspection.
