The present invention relates to a ground milling machine, in particular a road milling machine, for removing ground material, comprising a machine frame having a chassis, a milling drum supported on a machine frame, and a transport device having at least one conveyor belt, which is configured for conveying removed ground material in a conveying direction away from the milling drum to a discharge point, as well as to a method for operating a ground milling machine. One aspect of the present invention is to provide an electrostatic precipitator, which reduces the dust pollution.

DEBRIS DIVERTER FOR MICROTRENCHERS

Arrangements for diverting and removing spoil created when a microtrench is being cut. The disclosed arrangements divert the debris and dust away from the microtrench during the cutting process. In optional embodiments, a spoil vacuum system is used to remove the dust particles during the debris diversion process. In further optional embodiments, a microtrench slot cleaning tool and slot vacuum system may be used. The microtrencher can be mounted on a skid-steer loader or a similar support vehicle.

DEBRIS DEFLECTING SYSTEM

A debris deflecting system for a milling machine includes at least one deflecting element disposed proximate to a component of the milling machine. The deflecting element is configured to deflect debris away from a front end of the component. The component includes at least one side plate of the milling machine and/or at least one sensor of the milling machine. The debris deflecting system also includes at least one actuating element coupled to the deflecting element. The actuating element is configured to actuate the deflecting element to deflect the debris away from the front end of the component.

SAWCUT MACHINE FOR SIDEWALKS

Disclosed is a machine for forming saw cuts into sidewalk concrete slabs, the machine comprising a frame, rubber tracks attached to the underside of the frame to self-propel the machine in a travel direction along a sidewalk during use, and a cutting assembly mounted to the frame. The cutting assembly comprises a saw for forming saw cuts, a linear actuator for moving the saw at a depth into the sidewalk, and a screw drive motor to move the saw to form the saw cut in a direction perpendicular to the travel direction. While road repair machinery has the luxury of more space, machines for sidewalks are smaller and tighter. The machine in accordance with the teachings of this invention uses a newly designed cutting assembly to keep the size of the machine useable for sawcuts in sidewalks.

At least one fluid connection fluidly coupled to a lower portion of the auxiliary reservoir fluidly couples the auxiliary reservoir to the primary reservoir. The primary reservoir and the at least one auxiliary reservoir are configured to equilibrate as the pump draws fluid from the primary reservoir.

Accumulators that are in communication with the fluid circuit automatically store and release hydraulic fluid in response to movement of the attachment. A valve assembly controls fluid communication between the fluid reservoir and the fluid circuit in response to movement of the attachment to its second position.

The present invention is an all-in-one pavement cutting and debris removal system, which comprises a cutting assembly including a saw blade and motor for supporting and rotating the saw blade, a water supply assembly that sends water to the saw blade including a water tank and water tube to keep the saw blade cool during cutting, and an assembly for removing the cutting debris/slurry created during the cutting. The assembly may utilize a high-pressure air flow or water to blow away the cement/water debris or a high vacuum suction device to vacuum away the cement/water debris. The present system employs a single truck to carry or tow the cutting assembly, water tank and air compressor for the same function that currently requires two trucks.

A mobile milling machine can be equipped with a liquid spray system to introduce a liquid spray into a rotor enclosure to reduce the temperature of a plurality of cutting tools disposed on a rotatable cutting rotor. The liquid spray system can be associated with one or more surface wetness sensors to estimate the wetness of the work surface after the milling operation. The wetness of the work surface can be used to adjust the spray quantity of the liquid spray introduced by the liquid spray system.
