IMPACT DISSIPATING BOLLARD
An impact dissipating bollard system includes a vertical stanchion and a composite energy-absorbing deformable cartridge configured to be positioned within a retaining foundation that includes a rigid core portion including a stanchion-receiving aperture and first and second projections extending from the rigid core portion. The first and second projections, together with the core portion, form the dumbbell shape. Energy-absorbing resilient elastic material surrounds the rigid core portion and is positioned within recesses within the first and second projections. The bollard system is configured such that impact energy is transferred from the vertical stanchion to deform the composite energy-absorbing deformable cartridge. The bollard system retaining foundation includes a reinforcing frame embedded in concrete and having a strength of least 30 MPa.
SECURITY BARRIER FOR FORCING VEHICLES TO A STOP
The invention relates to a security barrier for stopping a vehicle, comprising a base (2) which is designed to lie on the ground, a frame (3) which extends above the base (2) and is designed to absorb the impact of the vehicle, and a pair of loading structures (4) which are designed to connect the frame (3) to the base,
wherein each loading structure (4) comprises a spur (14) which is designed to contact the ground from the side opposite the impact of the vehicle and which is connected to the base (2) by means of at least one hinge (22) that has an axis (A), said axis sliding relative to the loading structure (4) in a direction which is inclined downwards from the frame (3) to the spur (14).
Traffic flow barrier with corresponding production mold and hand cart
A barrier system is used to direct and block a travel path of pedestrians and vehicles. The barriers may be shaped substantially as a truncated pyramid with a base surface and planar sides extending from the edges of the base surface to a top portion, where the cross-sectional area of the base surface is larger than the cross-sectional area of the top portion. The angles of inclination between the planar sides and the interior of the base surface are acute angles. The bollard can be cast from heavy dense materials. The bollard includes at least two overhanging lips on the planar sides of the barrier between the base surface and the top portion. The configurations of the bollards provide improved placement, such as with cranes, hand carts, and other devices. Molds to cast the barriers and hand carts to move the barriers are also disclosed.
Vehicle Impact Barrier System and Vehicle Impact Barrier Unit for Use Therein
Vehicle impact barrier system (300) comprising a series of impact barrier units (310) and at least one linkage means (332). A first impact barrier unit is linked to at least one other impact barrier unit by said at least one linkage means.
Bollard system
A bollard system may includes a bollard, a carrier device, a lock plate, and a cover plate. The bollard may be rotatable between a deployed configuration and a stowed configuration. The carrier device may have a recess adapted to carry the bollard in the stowed configuration, and may be adapted to be recessed within the ground. The lock plate may be adapted to maintain the bollard in the deployed configuration. The cover plate may be carried by the carrier device and adapted to cover a portion of the recess. The cover plate may be moveable between an opened position and a closed position. When the cover plate is in the opened position, the bollard may be rotatable between the deployed configuration and the stowed configuration. When the cover plate is in the closed position, the cover plate may be configured to be flush with the ground.
Shallow Mount Bollard
A bollard assembly includes a bottom plate with a forward edge and an aft edge, an elongated member mounted on the bottom plate and extending from a forward end to an aft end in a direction from the forward edge toward the aft edge, a bollard secured to the bottom plate with a bollard section of the elongated member disposed inside of the bollard, bars mounted on the bottom plate on opposite sides of the elongated member, and a top plate having a smaller perimeter than the bottom plate mounted on the elongated member and the bars with the bollard extending above the top plate.
IMPROVEMENTS IN AND RELATING TO BARRIERS
Barriers, such as vehicle impact barriers for placing upon an existing surface such as a road surface, or a paved surface, or a pedestrian surface. Surface-mountable and removable barriers are described for use as vehicle impact barriers. Such barriers may be employed for rapid deployment in a street, causeway or other route.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING SIGNS TO FOUNDATION MEMBERS SUCH AS ROAD BARRIERS
A support system for a sign mountable on at least two spaced apart foundation members, the system comprising: i) a base, preferably a length adjustable base, having a first end and a second end; ii) a vertical sign support having a first end and a second end wherein the second end is connected to the base; iii) a first foundation member bracket for connection to a first foundation member, the first foundation member bracket proximate the first end of the base; and iv) a second foundation member bracket for connection to a second foundation member distant the first foundation member, the second foundation member bracket proximate the second end of the base.
DEVICE FOR VEHICLE HINDRANCE AND RAINWATER TREATMENT AND SYSTEM COMPRISING THE SAME
A device for vehicle hindrance and rainwater treatment including a vehicle hindrance body and a well pit. The vehicle hindrance body includes a lower sidewall, the well pit includes a top opening, and the lower sidewall encloses the top opening. The lower sidewall includes a plurality of water inlet holes. The well pit includes an upper part, a lower part, and a partition disposed between the upper part and the lower part. The partition includes a plurality of leaking holes. The upper part of the well pit includes an outer ring belt filled with a rainwater pretreatment filler, a center ring belt filled with soil, and a rainwater collection ring belt disposed between the outer ring belt and the inner ring belt. The lower part includes a water-sand separating folded plate, a water-sand discharging channel, a rainwater collecting tank, and a rainwater storage chamber.
SHOCK-ABSORBING CAR SAFETY STOPPER
The present invention relates to a shock-absorbing car safety stopper which damps an impact applied to a tire by a stopper during parking and is helpful in extending the life of a vehicle, the present invention provides a shock-absorbing car safety stopper comprising a base plate (10) which is installed on the ground surface of a parking lot, a touch bar (20) which is provided at a predetermined height above the base plate, a shaft (40) which connecting a fixed boy attached to an upper surface of the base plate (10) and a rotating body attached to a lower surface of the touch bar (20), and a coil spring (42) fitted to the shaft (40) to apply an elastic restoring force to the touch bar (20), so that the touch bar to damp an impact applied to a tire [T] enabling the tire to return it to the original position.
