Mobile Waterjet Rail Repair System
A translatable, ultra-high pressure liquid jet system includes a translatable frame configured to maintain mechanical contact with a rail. The liquid jet system includes a liquid jet processing head affixed to the frame and configured to maintain a distance from the rail and provide a liquid jet that contacts the rail. The liquid jet system also includes an ultra-high pressure liquid pump in fluid communication with the liquid jet processing head. The ultra-high pressure liquid pump is configured to supply pressurized liquid to the liquid jet processing head.
Apparatus for weed control
An apparatus for weed control includes a processing unit that receives at least one image of an environment. The processing unit analyses the at least one image to determine at least one vegetation control technology from a plurality of vegetation control technologies to be used for weed control for at least a first part of the environment. An output unit outputs information that is useable to activate the at least one vegetation control technology.
Track cleaner and grinder head attachment
The present invention is a grinder head for attaching to a track cleaner. The present invention also includes the grinder head attached to a track cleaner. Preferably, the present invention will continuously grind and load hard frozen minerals like taconite or ice. In addition, the present invention preferably aids in removal of hard-to-handle material such as wet, sticky bentonite from tracks which can be difficult in the summer months. The grinder head attachment will preferably allow operators to use a track cleaner to remove materials, preferably in one pass, during the colder months when the bentonite is frozen and much easier to handle. Preferably, the present invention will also be able to remove concrete or asphalt surfaces at road crossings.

A WEED CONTROL APPARATUS
A weed control apparatus for a vehicle includes a processing unit that receives at least one image of an environment. The processing unit analyses the at least one image to activate at least one chemical spray unit. A liquid weed control chemical is atomized and charged by the at least one chemical spray unit. The at least one chemical spray unit has at least one part configured to be held at high voltage with respect to zero volts potential. The at least one high voltage power supply and the at least one chemical spray unit are configured to hold the at least one part of the at least one chemical spray unit at one or a number of high voltages with respect to zero volts potential, such that the atomized liquid weed control chemical is electrically charged.
Surface cleaning system and method
The invention provides a surface cleaning system for cleaning said surface from contaminants, said system comprising a laser device for generating a high intensity laser beam, projection optics for projecting said beam as at least one laser spot on the contaminants, and a control device for determining a longitudinal displacement speed of said surface cleaning system and said surface with respect to one another, and adapted for controlling said laser device and said projecting optics to result in a pattern of laser spots, the laser spots having a spot size, said pattern comprising said laser spots having a spacing of up to the spot size.
