Method for selectively coupling or uncoupling a coupling, and a coupling therefor

A method for selectively coupling or uncoupling a coupling with a release, arranged between the supply conduit and a cylinder, on the basis of pressure in a supply conduit. The method includes providing an operating pressure prevailing in the supply conduit in order to provide hydraulic liquid to the cylinder on the basis thereof and providing an uncoupling pressure prevailing in the supply conduit for the purpose of activating shut-off valves in the supply conduit and on the cylinder and activating a release which uncouples the coupling. A coupling for respectively coupling and uncoupling a supply conduit which is connected to the coupling to/from a cylinder, as well as to an assembly including a pump, a cylinder, a supply conduit between the pump and the cylinder, and such a coupling.

The present invention relates to a gasket adapted for being placed between a transition piece and a monopile of a wind turbine. One embodiment relates to a gasket for formfitting the bottom part of a transition piece of a wind turbine, the gasket primarily manufactured in an elastomeric material and shaped as a hollow elongated body for surrounding at least a part of the monopile when mounted between the transition piece and the monopile, such that the gasket stabilizes the position of the transition piece relative to the monopile. The presently disclosed gasket can substitute the traditional grouting or bolting procedures when mounting a transition piece on a monopile.

Method for Lifting an Object From a Vessel Deck

Described is a method for lifting an object from a vessel deck. A hoisting means present on the vessel deck is provided with a hoisting cable to which an attaching means for the object is coupled. The object is connected to the attaching means and then taken up and displaced relative to the vessel deck using the attaching means. The swinging movements of the attaching means and of the object connected thereto, occurring under the influence of wave and wind forces, are damped during displacement by a gyroscope which is connected to the hoisting cable, attaching means and/or object and which includes a rotation-symmetrical body rotating around a primary rotation axis.

System for transporting an offshore structure, the system comprising: a transport apparatus, in particular a vessel or a vehicle, which is configured to receive an offshore structure and to form a slip joint with a slip joint section of a received offshore structure, wherein the system is configured to enter a releasable state, from a fixing state, wherein, in the releasable state, the slip joint formed by the transport apparatus and the offshore structure is smaller than that force in the fixing state.

JACK-UP PLATFORM COMPRISING A MOORING SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR MOORING A FLOATING VESSEL
20220259811 · 2022-08-18 ·

A jack-up platform is described having a horizontal working deck that may be jacked up out of the water by moving its legs to a position wherein they take support on an underwater bottom. The jack-up platform further comprises a mooring system for mooring a floating vessel at a mooring side of the jack-up platform. The mooring system comprises an elongated support means for supporting a hull part of the floating vessel, and guiding means connected to the hull of the jack-up platform at the mooring side. The guiding means are able to rigidly hold the elongated support means in a support position, in which the elongated support means is within reach of the hull part of the floating vessel to be supported when the hull is jacked out of the water and the jack-up platform rests on its legs. A method for mooring a floating vessel using the jack-up platform is also described.

Offshore structure and method for attaching a tube or cable to an appliance of an offshore structure

Provided is an offshore structure, especially offshore wind turbine, including a platform that is connected to the seabed, especially via a foundation that carries the platform, and an appliance, wherein it comprises guiding means for guiding at least one tube or cable along a guidance path from a respective entry point at which the tube or cable enters the platform to a respective connection point at which the tube or cable is connected or connectable to the appliance.

Floating integrated system of breakwater and wind energy for deep-sea aquaculture

A floating breakwater and wind energy integrated system used for offshore aquaculture. The system contains the wind turbine system, the floating breakwater system, and offshore aquaculture system. The combination of wind turbine, floating breakwater system and offshore aquaculture system makes full use of the floating breakwater, thus decrease the wave load on the floating cage. In addition, the floating breakwater offers a supporting platform to the floating wind turbine, which effectively reduces the costs of the wind turbine. Meanwhile, a power autarkic offshore aquaculture system may be realized by using the electrical energy generated by the turbine. Compared with the simple offshore aquaculture system, the utilization rate of the sea per unit becomes even higher while the costs of the floating wind turbine becomes even lower.

Device for levelling an offshore foundation construction

A device for levelling an offshore foundation construction including a cylinder equipped with a fastening member for removably fastening the cylinder to a part of the offshore foundation construction, a rod mobile in axial translation with respect to the cylinder, the rod including a pushing end so configured to push against a mudmat.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A GRAVITY BASED FOUNDATION FOR AN OFFSHORE INSTALLATION, AND GRAVITY BASED FOUNDATION

A gravity based foundation for an offshore installation includes a caisson of concrete and a hollow shaft. The caisson has a bottom slab, a roof and a side wall extending between the bottom slab and the roof. The roof having a passage for the shaft into the caisson. The shaft support has embedded tensioning bars vertically projecting from the upper side of the shaft support. The shaft is mounted on the shaft support by the tensioning bars. A method of manufacturing includes providing a concrete bottom slab, arranging a full-length formwork onto the bottom slab, arranging a slip formwork onto the bottom slab, providing the tensioning bars and mounting the tensioning bars in a fixed position to the full-length formwork, and concrete pouring of the sidewall and shaft support while raising the slip formwork.
