POST SLEEVE ASSEMBLY
A post sleeve provides a substantially permanent base for supporting a post for a fence or sign, and from which one post can be removed and replaced with another post. The sleeve includes a concrete body that is poured on site, using a sleeve core prepositioned in the post hole, and around which wet concrete is poured. After the concrete is cured, the core is removed, leaving a post sleeve cavity configured to receive a post. The core can be rigid, or can include a flexible shell and stiffener. A preformed post sleeve top can be attached to the sleeve core and positioned therewith in the post hole, to become a permanent part of the post sleeve, once the concrete cures. A drain is attached to the core, and remains in the sleeve when the core is removed, and can be a percolation chamber, or passage extending below the sleeve.
Open End Friction Pile
The open end friction pile comprises of four steel plates, four brackets, and one driving head. The steel plates have a first bend line and a second bend line that are equidistant from a distal end. The first bend line and second bend line of the steel plates are equidistant from each other creating a center portion. The brackets have a first bend line and a second bend line that are equidistant from a distal end. The first bend line and second bend line of the brackets are equidistant from each other creating a center portion. The bracket has a third bend line along the center portion. One bracket is connected to one steel plate along the distal ends and center portion. All four steel plates and four brackets concurrently connect along the distal ends to form two open-ends. A driving head is connected covering the top open-end.
Foundation integral construction components and support systems
Foundation integral construction components and support systems where multiple pile foundation components are incorporated into a structure system that is connected to, or otherwise part of the foundation, can further reduce the need for excavation and thus preserve existing contours and drainage properties of the land. These multiple pile foundation systems, are applicable to a wide variety of site and soil conditions and a wide variety of surface structures or buildings. The multiple pile foundation system can reduce the need for site excavation, drainage control, and soil backfill by transferring load from a portion of a structure to the ground.

Dual pile cap
A solar array support structure includes a first vertical pile extending from a ground to a first pile end, a second vertical pile extending from the ground to a second pile end, and a first pile cap attached to each of the first and second vertical piles, the first pile cap configured to account for a misalignment of at least one of the first vertical pile and the second vertical pile by providing for adjustable attachment locations for each of the first and second pile ends.
Expanding foundation components and related systems and methods
A foundation component having an elongated shaft with a below-ground end and an opposing above-ground end. The foundation component is installed by sleeving it over a mandrel and applying downward force to the mandrel to insert the component and mandrel into underlying soil. Proximate to the underground end, the shaft has one or more crumple zones formed along its length. When the mandrel is rotated to a locked position and upward force is applied while bracing the above-ground end of the component, one or more of the crumple zones expand transversely into the soil, depending on the soil's density, thereby increasing the component's bearing capacity and resistance to pull out.
Pole shield
The present disclosure relates to a pole shield for extending around a pole structure. The pole shield comprises one or more than one sheet of composite material forming a hollow structure having an open first end and an opposed open second end. The sheet or sheets of composite material comprise from about 50% to about 80% by weight of a reinforcement impregnated with about 20% to about 50% of a polyurethane resin composition comprising a combination of a polyol component and a polyisocyanate component. Two or more pole shields may be stacked one on top of the other to form a pole shield structure which extends the height of protection of the pole structure. The pole shield can be used for protecting a pole structure from damage, such as from fire, rain, wind, sand, ice, pests, moisture or electrical. The pole shield may also be used to provide structural support to a pole structure.
Pile set measurement apparatus
An apparatus (100) to trace pile set during pile driving comprises a panel (110) for attachment to a pile (150); a holding mechanism (120) to hold a writing instrument (160) against the panel (110) to trace the pile set for series of blows during the pile driving; a sliding mechanism (130) to provide lateral movement across the panel (110) for the holding mechanism (120) after each blow during the pile driving; and a platform (140) to allow the sliding mechanism (130) to slide freely in horizontal direction.
