Certain aspects of removing submerged piles of offshore production platforms can be implemented as methods. A top deck of a fixed offshore platform installed on a mudline of a body of water is removed. An upper structure of the fixed offshore platform is removed. The upper structure is below the top deck. A lower structure is secured to the mudline by one or more structural piles remaining. The one or more structural piles, which are housed within one or more members of the lower structure, are driven below the mudline. The lower structure of the fixe offshore platform is removed. The one or more structural piles are left below the mudline.

The invention relates to a device for cutting concrete piles. The device having a frame, gripping means connected to the frame and including at least two opposing gripping parts, which are movable at least closer to each other to form a closing grip around a pile and further away from each other to release the pile from the closing grip, and sawing means, which are arranged to perform a back and forth sawing movement on the two opposite sides of the pile moving along a horizontal guide rail attached to the frame and which is further arranged to turn towards the pile to be sawed and back around their rotational axis. The invention further relates to computer program means suitable for controlling a device according to the invention to perform a desired sawing profile in the concrete pile.

Internal jacket leg cutter and method

An internal caisson/jacket leg cutter and method provides a frame having upper and lower end portions. The upper end portion has rigging that enables the frame to be lifted. Extensible arms are movably supported upon the frame. The arms extend and retract along generally radially extending lines. Extension of the arms enables them to contact the inside surface of a caisson/jacket leg and thus center and anchor the frame within the caisson/jacket leg interior. A cutting mechanism at the lower end portion of the frame includes one or more rotary cutters or milling devices that cut the caisson/jacket leg wall as these cutters traverse an arc shaped path, tracking the caisson/jacket leg wall.

The inner ring plate includes at least one transfer opening leading from the lower side to the upper side of the inner ring plate.

The invention relates to a method for carrying out a construction measure, in particular a foundation engineering measure, with a construction device, in particular with a foundation engineering machine, which has a plurality of actuation elements and sensors for recording operating states relating to the actuation elements, and with a computer unit, by which recorded parameter values of the sensors are received when carrying out the construction measure. According to the invention provision is made in that for a construction measure a number of different defined process steps are stored, in that from one defined process step to at least one subsequent defined process step a transition takes place as a result of at least one exit rule, wherein to each exit rule at least one characteristic parameter value of at least one sensor is assigned, and in that the recorded parameter values of the sensors are checked as to the exit rules and, if they occur, a transition from an associated defined process step to a subsequent defined process step is detected.
