ELECTRIC DRIVETRAIN AND COMPONENT STORAGE CONFIGURATIONS FOR AN ELECTRIC WORK VEHICLE
In one aspect, an electric work vehicle includes a chassis extending in a longitudinal direction between a first end and an opposed second end, and a cab supported between the first and second ends of the chassis. The work vehicle also includes a work implement assembly positioned at the first end or the second end, and a storage compartment defining a storage volume extending in the longitudinal direction between the cab and the first end or the second end. Moreover, the electric work vehicle includes a battery module positioned within the storage compartment, and a drivetrain including an electric traction motor positioned within the storage compartment and configured to be operated via power supplied from the battery module. The electric traction motor is coupled to a transmission of the drivetrain to allow torque to be transferred from the traction motor to corresponding traction devices of the electric work vehicle.
SWIVEL WORKING MACHINE
A swivel working machine includes a swivel base, a prime mover installed in the swivel base, a working device provided at the swivel base, and a support mechanism that supports a fuel cylinder in a rotatable manner around a pivot shaft. The fuel cylinder contains fuel for the prime mover. The support mechanism includes a support rotating body that supports the fuel cylinder and that rotates around the pivot shaft, a rotational-position defining mechanism including a pin that defines a rotational position of the support rotating body around the pivot shaft, and an adjustment mechanism that adjusts a position of the pivot shaft relative to the pin.
Shovel and work support system for construction machine
A shovel includes a lower traveling body, an upper turning body turnably mounted on the lower traveling body, and a controller configured to control a projection device that projects light onto a ground surface. The controller is attached to the upper turning body, and is configured to control the projection device so as to enable visualization of the relationship between the current shape of the ground surface and the shape of a target surface.
Shovel with output restriction based on temperature of components
A shovel according to embodiments of the present invention includes: a lower traveling body; an upper swivel body that is rotatably mounted on the lower traveling body; an attachment that is configured by a boom, an arm, and an end attachment; an engine that is mounted on the upper swivel body; a motor generator that is able to assist the engine; a power storage system that is mounted on the upper swivel body; a swiveling motor that is driven by electric power from the motor generator and the power storage system; temperature detection units; and a control device. The control device switches a control mode in a case where at least one of a temperature relating to the motor generator, a temperature relating to the power storage system, and a temperature relating to the swiveling motor, detected by the temperature detection units, is higher than a predetermined temperature.
WORK MACHINE WITH DIRECTIONAL AIR INTAKE ASSEMBLY
A work machine, such as a skid steer loader or a compact track loader, includes a directional air intake assembly with a directional cap positioned on an intake pipe for selectively drawing ambient air into an internal combustion engine. A cooling vent ejects air heated by a rear-mounted engine upwardly into the atmosphere. Extending higher than and adjacent to the cooling vent, the directional cap has an elongated head that blocks ingress to the intake pipe other than through an opening at a face of the cap. Selectively positioning and angling the opening between a side of the loader and an edge of the cooling vent avoids taking in debris from near the wheels or tracks, avoids taking in heated air from the cooling vent, and takes advantage of negative pressure caused by the updraft from the cooling vent to remove particulates, resulting in cleaner air for the engine at close to ambient temperature.
ACTIVE BAFFLING FOR COOLING SYSTEMS
A cooling system includes a first cooler, a second cooler, a fan positioned to drive air through the first cooler and the second cooler, and a baffle system. The baffle system includes a baffle and an actuator. The baffle is positioned to facilitate selectively restricting airflow through at least a portion of the first cooler. The actuator is positioned to facilitate reconfiguring the baffle between (i) a first orientation where the baffle does not restrict the airflow through the portion of the first cooler and (ii) a second orientation where the baffle restricts the airflow through the portion of the first cooler, thereby diverting additional airflow through the second cooler.
ELECTRIC DRIVE OF MOBILE APPARATUS
A mobile apparatus includes a main frame with displacing means, a rotating sub-frame rotatably connected to the main frame such that the sub-frame is rotatable around a rotation axis relative to the main frame, and a working arm connected to the sub-frame. The sub-frame includes a standing or seating position for an operator. The working arm includes at least two arm segments, and a first arm segment of the at least two arm segments is pivotally connected to the sub-frame around a pivot point located at a distance of the rotation axis. The first arm segment and the sub-frame are configured such that the first arm segment can be moved rearwards onto the sub-frame in the direction of the rotation axis to a rearward position in which the first segment extends over the rotation axis.
CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
Both a control for limiting operation of a machine body and a control for raising engine speed are achieved when an obstacle is detected. To this end, a machine controller performs operation limiting control by conducting a control for reducing the speed of the engine when the machine body does not require engine speed increase control and an obstacle is sensed by obstacle sensors, and the machine controller performs supply flow rate reduction control for reducing the flow rates of the hydraulic fluid supplied to hydraulic actuators from a hydraulic pump when the machine body requires the engine speed increase control and an obstacle is sensed by the obstacle sensors.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MINI-LOADERS OR OTHER POWER MACHINES
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for power machines, including a mini-loader that includes a frame, an operator station positioned toward a rear end of the frame and configured to be used by an operator who is behind or on the rear end of the frame, and a power source positioned toward a front end of the frame.
Shovel
A shovel includes a lower traveling body, an upper turning body turnably attached to the lower traveling body, a boom pivotably attached to the upper turning body, an arm pivotably attached to the boom, an engine mounted on the upper turning body, a hydraulic pump mounted on the upper turning body, a fuel tank mounted on the upper turning body, a work walkway provided on an upper surface of the fuel tank for the movement of a worker, and a rollover valve provided at the top of the fuel tank at a position different from the work walkway.
