12194330 · 2025-01-14 ·

A mobile water/fluid collection, recirculation management apparatus and system for the promotion of best and safest practices by firefighting engineers, candidates fire departments, agencies, colleges and academies as well as for the NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) recommended annual testing of other apparatuses, pumps, and appliances, which allows for engineers and candidates to train and practice their requisite evolutions and drills using full-flow water/fluids at full and various pressures including, but not limited to, drafting, flowing hand lines, deck guns, ground monitors, aerials and ladder pipes, nozzles and appliances while returning the water/fluid to the apparatus via direct and indirect connections. All returning water/fluids encounter the diffuser screen that is internal and integral to the unit and/or via the roof receiver/diffuser. Included is a removable, portable training fire hydrant which allows for the engineers and candidates to get real world driver training including spotting the hydrant and the race for water training elements, requiring the engineer/candidate to stop in the right spot, hook up the correct hoses from their engine to the hydrant directly to the invention apparatus, to pump and flow water safely, accurately and efficiently, and, once filled with the requisite water/fluid, it is ready for continuous recirculation, training or testing evolutions without overheating the water/fluid, because it is continuously cooled passively with the diffusers in an open loop design.

Remote monitoring of water distribution system

A liquid monitoring system includes a remote measurement device located at a location of the fire hydrant that is in contact with water provided by a water main. The remote measurement device has sensors that measure characteristics of the water and a communication interface that transmits measured information to a communication network device that may be located elsewhere on the fire hydrant. The communication network device communicates with a communication network.

HOT AND COLD OUTDOOR FAUCET SYSTEM
20250019943 · 2025-01-16 ·

A system for supplying mixed temperature water to an exterior of a building is disclosed herein. The system includes a water mixing valve. In some embodiments, the system may also comprise an outdoor faucet, or in other embodiments, the system may be integrate with existing outdoor faucet systems. The outdoor faucet preferably includes an elongated conduit that extends through a wall of the building and attaches to the water mixing valve located on an interior of the building. As such, the outdoor faucet is prevented from freezing risks. The system provides hot, cold or warm water to the outdoor faucet, preventing an individual from having to carry water from the interior to the exterior.

Anti-freeze faucet

An anti-freeze faucet contains: a first pipe, a second pipe, a check valve, and a control valve. The first pipe includes a hollow portion, an orifice, an outlet, and an inflow segment having two inlets. The second inserts into the hollow portion and includes a first connection segment, a second connection segment, and an air conduit, wherein the first connection segment has an air hole. The check valve is accommodated in the inflow segment and corresponding to the two inlets. The control valve is housed in the hollow portion and includes a base, a fitting bushing, and a coupling holder, wherein the base has two channels, and between the base and the fitting bushing is defined an accommodation chamber, the coupling holder has a rotation disc with a cold-water vent and a hot-water vent, and the coupling holder has multiple first openings and multiple second openings.

Leak detector and sensor

A leak detection sensor includes a transducer, the transducer including a base, a piezoelectric layer, and a conductive layer and at least two leads connected to the transducer. A method of making a leak detection sensor includes obtaining a transducer, the transducer including a base, a piezoelectric layer, and a conductive layer; and effecting a mounting hole such that the mounting hole is defined in the transducer. A jig includes a support and a punch.

Sanitary Hydrant

A freeze resistant sanitary hydrant is provided that employs a reservoir for storage of fluid under the frost line or in an area not prone to freezing. To evacuate this reservoir, a means for altering pressure is provided that is able to function in hydrant systems that employ a vacuum breaker.
