Method and apparatus for controlling automatic toilet flushing system
12270190 · 2025-04-08 · ·

A method for controlling actuations of an automatic toilet flushing mechanism compares manual flush timestamps, latch open timestamps and latch close timestamps in association with uses of a toilet stall to generate a stall use profile. Automatic toilet flushing may be controlled based on the stall use profile. Stall usage data, toilet usage data and/or water usage data may be collected and provided for improved maintenance and water conservation.

RETROFIT CARTRIDGE SYSTEM WITH CONTROLLED FLOW, FOR CONVERTING TRADITIONAL URINAL INTO HYBRID
20250188727 · 2025-06-12 ·

A cartridge formed to fit in the drain of a urinal is presented. The cartridge has an orifice formed therein to regulate a flow of flushing water so that the flushing water rises to come in contact with a chemical volume, thereby becoming chemically infused. The orifice may be adjustable to determine a height to which the flushing water rises in the urinal bowl. The orifice comprises a screw adjustment system, an orifice occlusion system, or a shaft and cap system. A flushing water source having an adjustable orifice is also presented. The flushing water source orifice can be adjusted to determine a height to which flushing water rises in the urinal bowl when the urinal is flushed.

The present invention relates to a toilet flushing initiating, monitoring and management system initiated by the unlocking of a locking member on a door mounted in a stall typically found in a bathroom such as a public bathroom. Signal patterns from flushing controller and a door housing controller are recorded and analyzed to identify associated fault conditions. Notifications of the associated fault conditions are output and communicated to an authorized user, such as a facilities manager.
