Stormwater siphon cube
To provide a portable device capable of capturing a flow of water from a stream, storm drain or runoff channel, on command and send that captured water into a pipe system, while allowing remote adjustment of the capture and flow rates out of the cube device, the stormwater syphon cube includes a rock grate to prevent stormwater borne objects from entering the device, and an exit valve adjustable via cable control, a side extraction valve adjustable via cable control to adjust the water flow into the extraction pipe, and extraction pipe attached to the cube to carry extracted water away to storage. The sealed exit pipe acts as a syphon drawing water out of the cube.

Rain overflow basin for collecting and storing water
A rain overflow basin for collecting and storing rainwater, mixed water, or wastewater, has an inflow, an outflow, a basin chamber, a basin spillway, which is equipped with a weir threshold and is connected downstream of the basin chamber. A drain discharges the basin spillway, and a purification device purifies water flowing from the basin chamber to the basin spillway. A retention wall between the basin chamber and the basin spillway dams up water accumulating in the basin chamber. Water draining from the basin chamber is dammed up in a storage space is between the retention wall and the weir threshold, to reach the basin spillway via the weir threshold. The retention wall includes a passage opening. A purification device extends into the basin chamber such that water draining from the basin chamber through the passage opening into the storage space flows through the retention element.

Sewer overflow discharge monitoring system and method
A method and a system for monitoring the performance of combined sewer overflow structures is described. The inventive system includes sensors for monitoring the level of sewage in the structure and the operation of valves. A data processing unit collects data and calculates the flow of an overflow event and/or the performance of gate valves. The system may be battery operated and may adaptively change the sensor sampling time to prolong battery lifetime.

Rag relief for overflow screen
The present invention relates to a venturi device for a combined sewage overflow system, the venturi device comprising: a body defining a fluid passageway therethrough, the body having a first end portion defining a fluid inlet; a second end portion opposing the first end portion, the second end portion defining a fluid outlet and an opposing venturi inlet in fluid communication with the fluid outlet: and a mid-portion located between the first and second end portions; and a venturi pipe located between the first fluid outlet and the venturi inlet and in fluid communication with both, wherein the venturi pipe is narrower in cross section than the venturi inlet, and wherein the fluid inlet comprises an intake funnel that decreases in width in a direction towards the fluid passageway. The present invention further provides a CSO system including such a venturi device.

DETECTION AND MONITORING SYSTEM FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF COMBINED SEWER SYSTEMS
A combined sewer/enclosure overflow (CSO) sensor system is described for accurate detection and measurement of overflow events. From the combined data, trending information can determine if there is debris accumulation. Rain masks can be used in the trending data to measure overall health. External sensors in combination with the CSO sensors provide predictive information and additional levels of information/data accuracy. The sensor system automatically and remotely monitors CSO locations and provides real-time data regarding start times, stop times, duration, and flow volumes of overflows that occur in these structures and provide regulatory and public notification of these events.
