20220235873 · 2022-07-28 · ·

A vacuum sewage system includes a check valve having a body, a sealing member and a cover. The body includes a housing. The sealing member has a first section and a central section connected to the first section. The central section of the sealing member has a sealing surface. The cover has an interior chamber, a connector having a passageway in communication with the interior chamber, and a front wall having a central section. The central section of the front wall has a sealing surface. The central section of the sealing member is moveable from a first position in which the sealing surface of the sealing member is in contact with the sealing surface of the central section of the front wall of the cover to a second position in which the sealing surface of the central section of the sealing member is spaced apart from the sealing surface of the central section of the front wall of the cover.

CONTROLLING A VACUUM VALVE IN A SEWAGE PIT
20210404166 · 2021-12-30 ·

An example system includes a valve between a suction pipe extending into a sewage pit and a vacuum pipe connected to a sewer system. The vacuum pipe has vacuum pressure. The valve is controllable to open to allow content to flow from the sewage pit, through the suction pipe, and into the vacuum pipe. A sensor is configured to detect the vacuum pressure in the vacuum pipe. The valve is controllable to open for a duration that is based, at least in part, on the vacuum pressure in the vacuum pipe.

DETECTING VACUUM PRESURE AND ANOMALOUS CYLCING IN A VACUUM SEWER SYSTEM

An example apparatus is for use in a system that includes a sewage pit, a suction pipe in the sewage pit, and a valve between the suction pipe and a vacuum pipe that connects to a sewer system. The apparatus includes a controller configured to perform operations that include: detecting a vacuum pressure in the vacuum pipe, determining that the vacuum pressure in the vacuum pipe is below a predefined pressure, and preventing the valve from opening in response to determining that the vacuum pressure in the vacuum pipe is below the predefined pressure.

Sewage basin pump control support

A wastewater sump assembly for receiving and disposing of undesired fluid and, in some cases, solid waste (collectively “wastewater”). A sump basin includes an upstanding wall a base and a top. A sensor in the form, e.g., of a float switch extends into the basin and is operable to actuate a pump to remove collective wastewater from the basin. The sensor depends from a sensor support that is supported distally within the basin in a vertical manner and is supported proximately within the basin in a horizontal manner, with securement of the sensor support not requiring traversal of the basin top and with the distal basin support not needing to be accessed vertically through a pump access aperture in the top.

SEWAGE DISCHARGE DEVICE

A sewage discharge device detachably and hermetically connected to a sewage tank includes a drain pipe and a main box body. A drain control valve and a self-priming drain pump are provided inside the main box body. One end of the drain control valve is detachably and hermetically connected to the drain pipe. The other end of the drain control valve is detachably and hermetically connected to the self-priming drain pump. The self-priming drain pump is provided with a drain nozzle and a cleaning coupling. The drain nozzle is detachably and hermetically connected to a sewage pipe. The drain nozzle and the cleaning coupling protrude outside the main box body. The sewage discharge device of the present invention prevents users from contacting fecal matter and wastewater. Manual cleaning of the drain pipe is also eliminated, which is convenient to use.

SAFETY VALVE FOR SUMP PUMP
20220163126 · 2022-05-26 ·

A sump pump system for a residential building has a sump with an inlet that receives water from an external source, a pump positioned with the sump, the pump having a pump inlet in fluid communication with the sump and an outlet in communication with a fluid destination, a valve connected to the inlet of the sump, the valve being movable between an open position in which fluid is permitted to enter the sump via the inlet, and a closed position, in which fluid is prevented from entering the sump via the inlet, wherein the valve is biased toward the closed position, and a valve restraint that is electrically actuated between a first state and a second state. In the first state, the valve restraint holds the valve open and in the second state, the valve restraint releases the valve.

Tank for pressure sewer installation

The present invention relates to a storage tank, comprising a neck portion having an opening, the neck portion having side walls which define a first storage volume; a body portion connected to, and located below, the neck portion, the body portion having side walls and a base which define a second storage volume, wherein a section of the body portion is configured with a substantially rectangular cross-section in the horizontal plane, and wherein the second storage volume is greater than the first storage volume; and ribs projecting generally radially from the side walls of the neck portion and/or the body portion.
