Sewer cleanout cap and related methods

Implementations of sewer cleanout caps may include a cap having a first side and the second side opposite the first side. The cap may be configured to be inserted into a sewer cleanout line with the second side facing an inside of the sewer cleanout line. Implementations of sewer cleanout caps may include a rod coupled to and extending from the second side of the cap. The rod may be configured to extend through and couple to a bait. Implementations of sewer cleanout caps may also include a bait retainer configured to couple to the rod and secure the rodenticide to the rod and a spacer coupled over the rod and configured to provide space between the rodenticide and the second side. A length of the rod extending from the second side may be adjustable.

Drive-over tile intake guard

A drive-over tile intake guard has a drain tile inlet coupler that rests against the earth surface and does not rise consequentially above the earth. The inlet coupler encompasses and protects the end of a drain tile pipe. A plurality of rods are affixed on a first end to the inlet coupler, and each extend therefrom simultaneously downward into the drain tile and also generally radially toward the center of the tile opening. However, the rods are also each angularly offset from radial to the tile opening center. By angularly offsetting the rods each in the same rotational direction, smaller debris that might block flow through other prior art guards but which will not block the drain tile from functioning will swirl, slip off of the rods and pass into the drain tile, and ultimately be discharged at the outlet end of the drain tile.

Single-door flap gates and double-door flap gates are disclosed. Flap gates of the inventive subject matter are coupled with a structural element by one or more linkages, where hinges that are coupled with the structural element allow flap gate doors to open when sufficient fluid build-up exists behind the doors to push the doors open. Hinges are mounted at an angle. Features to facilitate fluid drainage despite the flap gate doors being closed are also contemplated.

DRAIN PIPE GATE

This application provides examples of apparatus and methods for gating off openings of drain pipes and other structures with openings using a gate that is mounted on a hinge so as to avoid catching debris exiting the pipe or other structure. Variations of the types of gate design, mounting, and shape of the pipe or other structure that is gated are provided to demonstrate some of the various embodiments of the present subject matter.

REINFORCEMENT VALVE FOR PREVENTING BACKFLOW IN DRAIN TRAP
20190194921 · 2019-06-27 ·

The present invention relates to a reinforcement valve for preventing a backflow in a drain trap, which can be additionally installed inside a drain trap, which can perform the air backflow phenomenon pre-contributing to the quality of the quality of the drain trap and to performance improvement thereof, and which always has the best backflow blocking function regardless of a strong air pressure generated inside the drain trap and any change thereof. A conventional drain trap has a water gathering portion (20) formed beneath a trap body (10); an inflow-side drain tube (30) and a discharged-side drain tube (40) are connected to one side and the other side thereof, respectively, such that draining occurs therethrough; a blocking membrane (60) is configured between the water inflow opening (31) And the water discharge opening (41); and a water drain hole (51) is bored between the blocking membrane (60) and the bottom surface inside the trap body (10). Th e present invention is configured by installing a backflow-preventing reinforcement valve (100) on the front side of the blocking membrane (60), in which the water drain hole (51) is formed, such that, when water is drained from the corresponding household, the same is automatically opened by the water pressure, thereby allowing water to drain, and, when water draining is completed, the same is automatically closed by self-weight, thereby guaranteeing, through control, that, even if a strong air flow is introduced into the drain trap, no backflow of air occurs.

DRAIN SEALING APPARATUS
20190194919 · 2019-06-27 ·

An in-drain sealing apparatus for being positioned in a drain pipe with an interior surface where the positioning is below a surface mounted grate in a room area. The drain sealing apparatus includes a connector ring defined by a center axis, a lower edge and a peripheral surface, the connector ring positioned in the drain pipe below the grate with a first cylindrical space defined between the drain pipe interior surface and the connector ring peripheral surface. A sealing member is positioned in the first space for sealing the first cylindrical space between the peripheral surface of the connector ring and interior surface of the drain pipe for preventing access from the drain pipe to the room area through the region between the connector ring and the drain pipe. A normally close sealing device is coupled to the connector ring whereby liquid flowing through the grate area into the drain will cause the normally closed sealing device to open allowing the liquid into the drain pipe and then return to its normally closed position when liquid ceases to flow through into the grate.
