20230065334 · 2023-03-02 ·

The present invention relates to a modular assembly, a site factory, for at least partially enclosing a site during construction of a structure. The modular assembly comprising: a plurality of portal frames, each portal frame comprising two columns and a roof beam, each column and roof beam comprising a plurality of pre-assembled units; a jack-up frame for each column; at least two first rails, each of the first rails being mounted to at least one of the roof beams; at least one second rail slidably mounted to the at least two first rails; and a plurality of panels of a flexible material configured to provide a full enclosure of the site and mounted above the roof beam. The or each second rail is configured to slidably receive at least one lifting device. The pre-assembled units are configured o be connected on site, and lifted using said jack-up frames, to form the portal frames, and wherein each first rail, and the or each second rail are configured to be mounted on the portal frames on site.

ACTUATED FOLDABLE BUILDING SYSTEM MODULE

A foldable building system module (FBSM) comprising an integrated deployable modular building system. The foldable building system module comprises prefabricated panels connected by hinges which allow the panels to be unfolded from a flat pack geometry to an unfolded, erected or deployed geometry. An actuating mechanism can be integrated in one or more of the panels and, by applying load to one or more of the panels, allow for automated erection of the module. Two or more of the FBSM's can be connected in series to provide a building system.

Method and apparatus for a wall panel system

An apparatus and method for a wall panel system having a plurality of wall panels arranged within a framework. The wall panels may include a plurality of retention devices releasably engaging the framework to position the wall panels relative to the wall panel system. One or more of the retention devices may be actuated to engage and disengage from the framework. The wall panel system may include trim releasably engaging the framework.

Mobile tower for transportation and remote deployment

A mobile tower for transportation to and rapid deployment at remote sites where the mobile tower can be engaged with the ground, the mobile tower including an extendable and retractable tower secured to a mobile support structure including a frame having a plurality of rapidly deployable outriggers, wherein the tower includes three series of pivotally interconnected tower sections or segments, sections or segments of which engage with segments of each of the other series when the tower is assembled; the mobile tower including a plurality of guy wires secured between the extendable and retractable tower and the respective outriggers to stabilize the tower after the tower is assembled. The guy wires are preferably secured to the extendable and retractable tower at first and second connecting positions that are displaced from one another about an outer perimeter. Methods of deploying the mobile tower are also disclosed.

Mission configurable shelter

A lightweight transportable containerized shelter includes wall panels made of a non-metal composite material coated at least on its inner face with a metal layer for EMI protection. The several wall panels are secured to a metal structural frame without the use of fasteners so as to define a containerized transportable shelter. The shelter meets ISO standards 668 and 1496. The shelter provides a continuous barrier to electromagnetic signals. Moreover, the containerized shelter is amenable to nine high stacking as required for ISO certification.

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a telescopic mast. In some embodiment, the telescopic mast includes at least two telescope members with parallel walls. One of the at least two telescopic members including at least two adjoining telescopic sections, with one of the at least two adjoining telescope sections being thinner than the others of the at least two adjoining telescope sections, so that a telescope section can be passed respectively into and out of a telescope section positioned round it in a telescope member. This telescope section positioned round it can be passed into and out of a further telescope section in a further telescope member. The telescopic mast further including elastic elements/actuators fitted between the adjacent telescopic sections, the elastic elements/actuators equalize and bear the dead weight and the useful load on the telescopic mast.
