Seismic Protective Structure for Board Partitions
20170362847 · 2017-12-21 ·

A seismic protective structure (100) for protecting a board partition (190). The protective structure (100) comprises a first stud (110), a second stud (120), and a wedge (140). The first stud (110) is mounted against a neighbouring wall (150) and the second stud is being positioned spaced from the first stud so that a protective board (130) is mounted on the first stud and the second stud. The structure also comprises a wedge (140) mounted and positioned against the second stud (120) such that the protective board (130) mounted on the first (110) and second stud (120) is pushed at least partly out of the plane of the board partition (190) by the wedge (140) when a given level of seismic stress is appearing.

A panel may be configured with panel mounts by forming a panel connector accepting slot in the panel and then locating connector mounts in the slot. In another embodiment, a panel may be configured with panel connector mounts by milling a panel to leave areas of panel material which form the mounts and milling the panel behind to connector mounts to define areas for accepting portions of the panel connector. Panels having the defined connector mounts may be connected by one or more panel connectors which engage the connector mounts.

WALL PANEL ANGLED CONNECTOR SYSTEM

A wall panel system includes a first wall panel, a second wall panel, and a joint member that couples the first wall panel to the second wall panel. The wall panel system also includes an upper mounting assembly that couples to the first wall panel and the second wall panel such that the upper mounting assembly pivots with the first wall panel and the second wall panel.

Modular wall system with variable trim

A moveable and demountable wall panel system that is secured between a floor of a room and a ceiling rail secured to a ceiling of the room. The wall panel includes a lower trim assembly that is both removably connected to a wall panel of the wall panel system and pivotably connected to a floor channel of the wall panel system. The lower trim panel is further configured to adjust in conjunction with wall panel height adjustments made by one or more height adjustment assemblies.

Precast Concrete Composite Wall

A precast concrete wall structure and method for forming a wall structure are disclosed. A forming member is positioned within a casting bed. The forming member comprises a layer of insulating material defining a plurality of integrally-formed rectangular protrusions extending in a parallel and spaced-apart relationship to one another to define a plurality of rectangular-shaped channels therebetween. The forming member also defines at least one cutout for defining a first portion of a fastener for securing the wall structure to a support structure. A second portion of the fastening member is positioned within the cutout. Uncured concrete is placed within the casting bed and allowed to cure.

The insulating barrier of a panel including has a first stratum and a second stratum, each having a plurality of ridges that face each other, and run athwart of each other. Clearance between at least some adjacent pairs of the ridges provide a mechanical chase that reaches across at least most of the panel. A cladding overlaying at least one side of the insulating barrier is denser than the barrier. The mechanical chase is in the form of a groove through which a utility feed can be routed when the panel is to be mounted in a building.

MODULAR WALLING SYSTEMS

A system for the modular construction of partitions, the system comprising a plurality of modules, each module comprising a security panel and a frame, the security panel being attached to one or more surface of the frame, the frame comprising at least one box shaped profile, each profile being adapted for connection to an adjacent profile of an adjacent module or to a structural building member.

A barrier system constructed of modules which includes a frame, a concrete foundation, a frame attached to the concrete foundation and supporting a non-vertical front side plate and a vertical rear side plate so that the front side plate and rear side plate meet at the top and are spread apart from each other at the bottom, slotted connectors on the front side and connectors on the rear side, the module adapted to be joined to an adjacent module either at the same elevation or a different elevation. The modules are joined together via bolts in the rear side connectors and threaded toggle bolts and drop toggle nuts through the front side slotted connectors. Extenders within the slots of the open ended connectors are used when connecting adjacent modules at different elevations to accommodate for slotted connectors of different sizes which must be connected to each other.

AN OUTER FRAME ELEMENT, A SET OF PARTS, A WALL CONSTRUCTION AND A METHOD FOR MOUNTING THE WALL CONSTRUCTION

A fire-shielding U-shaped outer frame element adapted for supporting a side of at least one wall element in a wall construction, said outer frame element being elongate and comprising a bottom part and a first side flange and a second side flange extending at an angle to the bottom part, interior surfaces of the side flanges being adapted for extending along exterior surfaces of the wall element. The outer frame element (1) comprises a plurality of perforations (15) and a first elongate strip (16) of a material having thermal shielding properties and being arranged on a surface of the first and/or second side flange (13, 14) of the outer frame element (1) so as to shield the wall element from heat from a fire. A set of parts include an outer frame element and a fastenings means for use between wall elements when making a wall construction.
