PRECAST BUILDING PANEL
20220316210 · 2022-10-06 ·

A method of constructing a reinforced concrete floor structure or wall structure, including: fabricating a precast panel substantially from concrete including a first set of parallel conduits extending through the panel, wherein the conduits open to opposite sides of the panel; moving the panel into its final position on a building site; and inserting tensioning cables through the conduits and tensioning the precast panel in the direction of the conduits to form a reinforced floor structure or wall structure, and a dowel connecting system for joining adjacent precast building panels, the system comprising elongated hollow dowel members cast in at the edges of two or more precast building panels such that when the building panels are positioned adjacent to each other their respective dowel members are co-linearly aligned; and a dowel piece to be inserted into a recess of the co-linearly aligned dowel members and to extend across the building panels, wherein the recess of the dowel members is adapted to be filled with grout to anchor the dowel piece therein and thereby structurally joining adjacent building panels.

Systems for recessing subfloor structures

A flooring installation includes at least two floor supports separated from one another by a span distance, the floor supports each having lateral, vertical side walls between which an opening is defined. A bay is defined between the floor supports. A primary subfloor is supported atop and attached to one of the at least two floor supports, the primary subfloor including an overhanging portion overhanging a portion of the bay. A spanning brace is disposed between the at least two floor supports in the bay, the spanning brace engaging on opposing ends the lateral, vertical side walls of the floor supports, one end of the spanning brace extending beneath and spaced from the overhanging portion of the primary subfloor. A recessed subfloor panel is supported atop the spanning brace, the recessed subfloor panel being supported at a lower elevation than the overhanging portion of the adjacent, primary subfloor.

A modular floor platform includes a floor made of a plurality of individual composite floor panels interconnected by tongue and groove joints. The individual composite floor panels have a foam core and a rigid cover over the foam core. A frame attaches the floor panels together along a perimeter of the floor. Legs beneath the frame and upwardly support the floor.

Profiled rail system for covering the end of a flooring
20170362819 · 2017-12-21 ·

A profiled rail system (1) for covering at least one flooring end (11) comprises a base profiled rail (2) and a covering profiled rail (3), being connectable with each other by means of a mounting profiled rail (4). The covering profiled rail (3) comprising at least one covering wing (10) for overlapping the flooring end (11). The covering profiled rail (3) is mountable on the mounting profiled rail (4). The base profiled rail (2) comprises holding means for connecting the mounting profiled rail (4). Between the base profiled rail (2) and the mounting profiled rail (4) at least one elastic body (20) is provided, holding the mounting profiled rail (4) in an unloaded situation in a predefined position. The mounting profiled rail (4) can be pivoted relatively to the base profiled rail (2) by means of elastically deformation of the elastic body (20).

A flooring system includes a flooring panel and a support element. The flooring panel has an outer periphery and defines an upper panel plane and a lower panel plane that is offset from the upper panel plane. The flooring panel includes a plurality of openings formed therethrough within the outer periphery. The support element extends lengthwise between opposing ends and includes an upper edge and a lower edge. The support element extends through and operatively connects with the flooring panel such that the upper edge is disposed in approximate alignment with the upper panel plane and the lower edge is disposed in offset relation to the lower panel plane in a direction opposite the upper panel plane. Methods of assembly are also included.

The present invention is directed to a multi-purpose panel member which may be utilized as any surface or support beam in a structure. In a preferred embodiment, the panel may be extruded monolithically from aluminum. Also disclosed are systems for assembling structures from the panels utilizing a plurality of other components, which are also preferably extruded from aluminum.

Method to reduce air infiltration through an insulated frame structure

Air flow is reduced through a structure insulated with one more layers of fiber wool or particulate insulating material. A layer of a foamed fluid polymeric composition is applied onto the exposed surface of the insulation to cover the edges at which the exposed surface of the insulation meets an enclosing member of the structure. The layer is then cured to form a polymeric coating on the exposed surface of the insulation. The coating seals the edge or edges at which the exposed surface of the insulation meets the enclosing members of the structure.
