Modular intermediate deck for micro housing
The invention provides a composite and modular intermediate deck, designed to divide a micro home into an upper living volume and a lower living volume below the intermediate deck. The intermediate deck is characterized by having a U-shaped slot comprising from 10% to 60% of the total surface of the platform, which allows maximizing usage of vertical space by making the U-shaped slot, which serves as a corridor in the upper living volume, coincide with non-crossable spaces in the lower living volume. The height of crossable areas of the upper living volume is given by the distance from the floor to the flat surface of the intermediate deck. A micro home unit characterized by featuring the abovementioned deck is also provided.
Convertible Ramp Stair Cover with Variable End Segments
The disclosure includes a device and steps of a method for covering stairs from a first tread run to a last riser with a convertible ramp stair cover of a total variable length. The method includes extending a top end segment from a top joint of the convertible ramp stair cover a variable length to abut a top run of the staircase. The method additionally includes extending a bottom end segment from a bottom joint of the convertible ramp stair cover a variable length to abut the floor adjacent the staircase and changing an angle of the top segment with respect to the convertible ramp stair cover to match a surface of the top run of the staircase. The method yet includes changing an angle of the bottom segment with respect to the convertible ramp stair cover to approach a surface of the floor adjacent the staircase.

WRAPAROUND STEP COVER FASTENING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A universal wraparound cover fastening system wherein the cover includes opposed ends mated with a fastening system. The fastening system includes a dual hook spring mechanism, with a first end affixed to an attachment point on the cover, and the opposite end hook mated with an extender. The extender includes at least one eyelet for attaching to the dual hook spring and a hook opposite the eyelet for mating with an attachment point on an opposite end of the cover around a step. The extender may include one or more eyelets along its length. Eyelets may include a single curl, or multiple coils. The wraparound cover can therefore be fitted over numerous side supported step types and sizes with varied extenders to minimize needs to provide additional attachment points on the step covers.

Adjustable step system
An adjustable step system for assisting a person walking up or down a flight of stairs. The system includes adjustable steps that can be mounted to the stairs of the flight of stairs. The adjustable steps effectively reduce the required vertical height of a step that a person is required to take for each stair. The adjustable steps are also movable and can be positioned at a desired location along the width of the stairs when not in use.

Method and apparatus for production of precision precast concrete flights of stairs
An apparatus and method for precision forming a precast concrete flight of stairs is disclosed and where precision cut form components provide plural tread supports, plural sideboards, plural tread/riser combinations and a center tread support that upon assembly, the form components, automatically square and align treads and risers with upper and lower landings for installation to provide access between vertically spaced apart floors of a structure.
Precast park refuge construction method and apparatus
A building system comprising a combination of precast or prefabricated structural elements to serve as skate parks, swimming pools, or community gathering places; and to provide refuge such as tornado shelters. Precast or pre-manufactured modular cells have an open bottom, a first and second side wall, a rear wall, and a functional top surface. The functional top surfaces of the modules include an inclined or curved surface. When combined, the top surfaces form useful areas such as a skate park, swimming pool, or amphitheater seating. Sleeves, keys, and other features facilitate the assembly of the modules. A cast slab may be poured after assembly; or the modules may be secured to a slab. Example modules include a Flat Ramp Block, a Circular Ramp Block, and a Circular Bowl Block, a stair block, and a ledge block.
ADJUSTABLE RAILING
A vertically adjustable railing having first and second elongate balusters each with a first and second ends, the balusters having a first connection elements at their first ends and second connection elements along their length. An elongate handrail is pivotally connected at its first end to the first connection element of the first baluster and pivotally connected at its second end to the first connection element of the second baluster. An elongate lower rail having a first end and a second end is pivotally connected at its first end to the second connection element of the first baluster and pivotally connected at its second end to the second connection element of the second baluster. A distance between the first end and the second connection element of the first baluster is greater than the distance between the first end and the second connection element of the second baluster.
