Hole protector device for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical (MPE) systems

A building is constructed by providing a subfloor and forming a hole in the subfloor. A hole protector includes a cylinder, a skirt disposed around the cylinder, and a cap disposed on the cylinder. The hole protector is disposed over the hole with the cylinder extending into the hole. The hole protector is fastened to the subfloor. The cap is removed from the hole protector. An MPE is disposed through the cylinder.

EXTENSION ELEMENT IN A SEALING SYSTEM
20200165814 · 2020-05-28 ·

A sealing system for improved heat resistance in a partition wall. A frame element forms an enclosed passage, with the frame element formed by a substantially flat member arranged perpendicular to the partition wall such that a shoulder extending from the partition wall is formed wherein the space within the frame element and the second section is to be fitted with insert blocks of a fire resistant material fitted around cable, etc. for sealing therearound. An extension element encloses the shoulder of the frame element and extends the enclosed passage for the cable, etc. The extension element includes a first and a second section. The first section includes a first fastening arrangement for attaching the extension element to the shoulder. The second section is formed so that an extended enclosed passage formed by the second section is substantially equal to the enclosed passage formed by the frame element.

ELECTRICAL WIRING STRUCTURE WITH CONNECTION POINTS ARRANGED ON SIDE WALLS AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTION METHOD
20200136363 · 2020-04-30 · ·

Disclosed herein are an electrical wiring structure with connection points arranged on side walls and a building construction method, which can improve convenience of electrical wiring construction and reduce electrical wiring materials. The electrical wiring structure includes a first power wire drawn out of a distribution box and disposed through a first conduit embedded in a concrete-made bottom base of an indoor space, a first joint box embedded at a predetermined height in a first side wall formed in the indoor space and electrically connected to the first power wire, a first light wire electrically connected to the first joint box, and a second joint box embedded at a predetermined height in a second side wall formed in the indoor space and electrically connected to the first joint box by a second power wire disposed through a second conduit embedded in the bottom base of the indoor space.

Transferring Apparatus For Pipeline And Electricity Wiring Insertion Into Residential Secured Spaces
20200041046 · 2020-02-06 ·

This invention is directed to a novel transferring apparatus for transfer of pipelines and/or wires into a shelter, while keeping the shelter sealed and impermeable for gas, liquids, blast over pressure, resist motive force, and blast reflected pressure. Embodiments of the invention enable entry of content into the shelter only through the pipe.

Building structure for a multi-story building

A structure for a multi-story building comprises a first passageway constructed internally within a building being configured with a mount for a ducted condenser unit (DCU) of a split type, unitary air conditioning system to achieve a desired level of condenser based heat dissipation and with a plurality of penetrations to accommodate a conduit through which refrigerant circulates between inside and outside units of the air conditioning system; and a second passageway constructed internally within the building for receiving air discharged from the DCU the second passageway terminating at an opening of the building through which the discharged air is exhausted to the atmosphere. The passageways have walls that are essentially closed, with the exception of the wall that is formed with an opening through which the discharged air flows. One or both of the first and second passageways upwardly extends across at least two stories of the building.

Modular building structure with integrated plants
10526781 · 2020-01-07 · ·

A modular building structure with relative integrated plants, as obtained by assembling a plurality of module frames to obtain a complex frame, allows associating ducts of one or more plants to the module frame. The module frames have a parallelepiped-like shape and are identified by beams joining in respective angles, including a plurality of connecting knots joining module frames adjacent to the angles; the adjacent beams of side-by-side module frames are spaced apart by the knots and the panels and are connected to the beams of the module frame thereto, so as to create an air gap. The integrated plants have a plurality of ducts arranged in the air gaps and in the through channels, which include, at edges or angles of the module frame, quick connections for connecting the ducts related to a module frame to those of another module frame placed side-by-side thereto.
