A cutout is formed in the fork between the cylindrical portion and the base. The spinner includes a hub, a rim, and one or more spokes extending between the hub and the rim. An internally threaded surface defining a bore extends through the hub. The engaging member includes a main body and a mounting portion extending from the main body. A hub-receiving bore is formed in the main body for receiving the hub of the spinner and a stem-receiving bore is formed in the main body for receiving the cylindrical portion of the stem.

The method includes: placing a metal rod of a one-piece tile separator between two adjacent tiles, with a metal base part under adjacent tiles, sliding a tile holder onto the metal rod, where one-way steel jaws opposite each other in the tile holder are pressured towards two opposed smooth surfaces of the metal rod, preventing return movement of the tile holder along the metal rod while the opposed one-way steel jaws indent the softer metal surface of the metal rod.

A tile aligning and leveling system that uses an under tile base re-usable upright connecting tab, which is detachably connected to said under tile base, a re-usable flexible edge slotted cap configured to slip over the connecting tab and latch thereto as the cap is slid further down the connecting tab. The cap has an edge slot so that the connecting tab can be separated from the cap, by merely sliding the cap, so that the connecting tab passes through the slot. A flexible spring-like portion of the cap provides increased force on the tile even if undesired elongation of the connecting tab occurs.

The ceramic tile leveling and laying system comprises: a ceramic tile leveling bracket, an insertion block, and pushing and clamping pliers, wherein the ceramic tile leveling bracket is disposed at a junction of at least two adjacent ceramic tiles, one end of the insertion block is inserted into an insertion block receiving portion of the ceramic tile leveling bracket, and the pushing and clamping pliers push and clamp the insertion block into a ceramic tile leveling bracket such that a bottom face of the insertion block is tangent to upper surfaces of the ceramic tiles. The ceramic tile leveling and laying system is easy to operate, and improves the laying efficiency and laying quality.

In one embodiment of the tile spacing device, the tile spacing device includes a U-shaped band having a body with two branches extending parallel therefrom and an opening therebetween. An arm having a lateral end extends proximally from one of the branches into the opening. Two interlocking connectors are respectively positioned on the body at the opening and on the arm. In one embodiment of the system, two tile spacing devices complimentarily releasably mate when the tile spacing devices are opposing and perpendicularly displaced to interlock the interlocking connectors.

A wedge levelling system for aligning surface coverings includes a tab with a substantially flat base and a vertical member extending away from a central area of the top surface of the base. The base includes beveled feet portions on opposite sides for insertion under lower surfaces of adjacent surface coverings, with the vertical member extending between the tiles. The vertical member is attached to the base with frangible leg. The vertical member includes an opening spaced so as to be above two adjacent tiles. When a wedge is inserted and held in the opening and presses down, the tiles are pushed downwardly toward a surface upon which they are being laid to properly align the edges thereof until the tiles are set, the wedge removed and the vertical member broken off at the frangible leg portions.

Each of the four arms has a cellular sheet structure defined by multiple cells, including at least one hexagonal cell. The central body and the four arms provide a four-tile engagement configuration. By selectively breaking and removing an arm, a three-tile engagement configuration may also be provided.
