Scaffolding
The invention relates to a bridge that is for use with a scaffolding standard. The standard may comprise of an elongate pipe to which there is secured at least one rosette of a kind that presents a plurality of apertures about the pipe at which a connection to said standard can be established by other scaffolding components. The bridge is capable of connection to said rosette at at least two said apertures, said bridge allowing a scaffolding component to be secured thereto to be positioned and supported by said bridge at a location not catered for by any aperture of said rosette.
Scaffolding, coupling device and method for erecting a scaffolding
Scaffolding, coupling device and method for erecting a scaffolding During erection of a scaffolding use is made of a coupling device with a base part (20) which is connected temporarily, but reliably, to a distal section of a ledger element (10) and to a coupling part (30) extending from the base part (20). The coupling part (30) comprises at the outer end a hook (35) which is placed round a subsequent upright (5) of the scaffolding in order to thus make a secondary connection thereto, while a primary connection (9,11) between the ledger (10) and the upright (5) is only completed later.
CATWALK FLOORBEAM CONNECTION SYSTEM
A catwalk system having a pair of side trusses formed of a top chord and bottom chord connected by a plurality of vertical posts and diagonal posts. The bottom chords have a plurality of joints formed of a bottom plate, opposing side plates and wing plates that form a pocket. These pockets receive an end of floorbeams which are bolted to the side plates. The bottom plate also includes a wind brace section that receives an end of a diagonal wind brace therein. The fabricated side trusses are shipped to the job site where the catwalk is quickly and easily assembled by aligning a pair of side trusses in parallel space alignment and installing floorbeams in the pockets of opposing joints. To provide additional rigidity diagonal wind braces are installed in a zig-zag formation between diagonally opposite joints. This arrangement provides a quickly assembled catwalk that requires minimal assembly.
SCAFFOLD PART AND SCAFFOLD HAVING SUCH A SCAFFOLD PART
A foldable scaffold platform has a first scaffold platform body and a second scaffold platform body which are interconnected by an articulation, where the scaffold platform can be folded up for the assembly, disassembly, and transportation thereof, where the width of the scaffold platform is reduced, preferably halved, in the folded state. Each scaffold platform body at the end sides when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the scaffold platform has in each case connection means, in the form of hooks, for connecting the scaffold platform to cross bars of a scaffold. Furthermore, the scaffold platform at the end sides thereof when viewed in the longitudinal direction has in each case an anti-lift protection. The anti-lift protections are disposed so as to be mutually diagonal such that in the folded state of the scaffold platform only a first anti-lift protection locks the scaffold platform to a first cross bar.
SCAFFOLD UNIT
An extendible scaffold unit comprises at least two support platforms or two support frames (12, 14, 16), at least one of the support platforms or support frames (12, 14, 16) being movable between a lowered position and a raised position, a plurality of scissor linkages (35, 36, 37) linking one support platform or support frame (12, 14, 16) with a next support platform or support frame (12, 14, 16), each of the scissor linkages (35, 36, 37) including a plurality of legs (26, 28, 30, 32), each scissor linkage having a leg pivotally connected to or near a corner of one of the support platforms or support frames and a leg pivotally connected to or near a corner of a next support platform support frame, wherein a leg is pivotally connected at or near each corner of a support platform or support frame. By providing a leg pivotally connected at or near each corner of a support platform or support frame, the support platform or support frame is supported at or near each corner when in the raised position. This provides a stronger, more stable and more secure support to the platform/frame.
SCAFFOLD DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY METHOD FOR SCAFFOLD DEVICE
[Problem] An object of the present invention is to provide a scaffold device and a method of assembling the scaffold device, whereby it is possible to reduce the weight of the components that constitute the scaffold device, simplify assembly work, and shorten the time required for assembly.
[Resolution Means] Means for solving the problem is characterized in that the means is provided with a frame 6 having a pair of longitudinal beams 2, 2, a pair of transverse beams 3, 3, and four coupling members 5 disposed between each end portion of the longitudinal beam 2 and each end portion of the transverse beam 3 and rotatably connecting the longitudinal beam 2 and the transverse beam 3 on the same plane; two or more intermediate beams 7 spanning between the longitudinal beams 2, 2 at a predetermined interval; and a scaffolding plate 8 spanning between the longitudinal beams 2, 2 and supported by at least one of the intermediate beams 7, the number of scaffolding plates being one greater than the number of intermediate beams 7 installed.
SCAFFOLD TRANSOM
A scaffold transom, particularly for the horizontally oriented installation in a scaffold section, the scaffold transom comprising at least one transom support which is rod-shaped and extends in the direction of a longitudinal axis, the transom support having two opposing ends in the direction of the longitudinal axis, and a connection interface being located at each of these two ends, which connection interface is provided for the connection to a scaffold element, at least two brackets which each extend along a bracket axis, the brackets each having two opposing ends in the direction of their bracket axis, one of said ends of each bracket being connected to the transom support, and at least two closures respectively one of which is located at the end of a bracket opposite of the connection of said bracket to the transom support.
Scaffold with an automatic installation characteristic
An automatic scaffold for reaching buildings during construction, repair, dyeing, coating, and maintenance. The automatic scaffold includes a scaffold module which has a stack of module layers. Movable columns open the scaffold modules by a drive unit so as to generate a distance between the module layers, wherein the distance is approximately of 2-meter height in which one person can comfortably work, and wherein the movable columns are respectively an outer carrier column which carries the scaffold module upwardly with the movement generated by the drive unit, and an inner movable column which is located inside the outer carrier column and linked to the outer carrier column via a control rod of the drive unit. Each module layer has vertical and horizontal rods, a carrier plate, and guide elements for fixing the vertical rods to the carrier plate.
Method and device for removing a non ground-based scaffolding system by a single user
An improvement to U.S. Pat. No. 6,003,630 comprising a method and device whereby the extension arm portion is removably attached and to the nail plate portion while attached to the exterior scaffolding portion, thus permitting a single user to take down the scaffolding easily and safely on their own without assistance. Additionally, the scaffold can now be safely lowered to the ground entirely from the building interior via a support line attached to the extension arm while it is attached to the exterior scaffolding. This improvement makes the 630 patent more efficient and much safer to use. Additionally, a spanner bracket for use with cement block or pour in place concrete walls is disclosed herein enabling a non ground-based scaffolding system in use with the 630 patent for such walls types, also permitting single user set up and removal of the scaffolding.
Scaffold with scaffolding elements and methods for erection thereof
A scaffold comprising at least two horizontally adjacent scaffold sections, the scaffold sections being defined substantially by lengthwise ledgers, transverse ledgers and uprights, characterized in that the scaffold comprises a guide adapted to be able to displace in substantially horizontal direction therealong a displaceable platform corresponding thereto and guided thereby; a method for erecting the scaffold, and a mobile platform.
