BARRIER MATERIAL
A barrier material for a containment system comprising: a first portion of polymeric material having an open structure defined by a plurality of small openings to function as a line screen, the first portion of polymeric material being formed from a plurality of fibrous materials and being configured to form a static structure having a display surface; and a second portion attached to a second surface of the first portion, the second portion having an open structure defined by a plurality openings to function as a reinforcing member for the first portion; wherein the display surface of the first portion is configured to receive and retain a printed image thereon.
EXPEDIENT RETROFIT FOR EXISTING BUILDINGS
A configuration, all components of which are man portable in some embodiments, for holding panels to protect assets against external force and impacts from airborne projectiles. An open box-like stackable frame module holds panels along a side of the frame. Multiple frames are connected to construct a protective barrier, such as a wall. Frames include provisions for connection in a vertical configuration so as to allow stacking of the frames to increase the height of the barrier. A method of installing is also provided.
MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SHELTER
A modular construction shelter for protecting workers and equipment or building materials adjacent a building wall. The shelter comprises a plurality of substantially identical lightweight panels that can be interconnected interchangeably into wall and roof sections. Each panel comprises a rectangular frame of flat-edged frame members covered by a lightweight sheet of flexible weatherproof cover material such as clear plastic, with interconnection features such as aligned bores for clips or bolts formed through the frame members behind the plastic sheeting to secure the panels to one another. Each flexible weatherproof cover includes an overlap flap of the sheet material extending beyond lower and first-side edges of the frame, the overlap flap including interior-facing fastener material to mate with corresponding exterior-facing fastener material formed on the outside faces of the upper and second-side frame members of adjacent panels.
IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO SCAFFOLDING TIES
An improved scaffolding tie 1 for connecting a scaffolding tarpaulin 8 to a scaffolding pole 9 is disclosed. The tie 1 comprises an anchor 4 for anchoring the tie 1 to the scaffolding tarpaulin 8, an attachment portion 6 for attaching the tie 1 to a scaffolding pole 9 and a ligament 5. The ligament 5 is connected between the anchor 4 and the attachment portion 6. The ligament 5 is arranged, in use, to bias the anchor 4 and attachment portion 6 towards one another. The attachment portion 6 comprises a fastening means 2 arranged, in use, to form a loop around a scaffolding pole 9 to attach the attachment portion 6 thereto. The fastening means 2 comprises a ratchet mechanism 26 arranged to restrain against expansion of the loop but permit ratcheted contraction of the loop.
Telescoping Break-Away Canopy Assembly
A break-away canopy assembly configured for use with a work platform in an elevator hoistway is provided. The break-away canopy assembly includes a plurality of spaced apart canopy posts in a substantially vertical orientation. A first support framework is connected to one or more of the spaced apart canopy posts. A second support framework is connected to one or more of the spaced apart canopy posts and opposes the first support framework. The first and second support frameworks each have connected first and second extension assemblies. One or more roof sections span and are connected to the first and second support frameworks. The first and second extension assemblies of the first support framework and the first and second extension assemblies of the second support frameworks are each configured to separate from each other in the event of an uncontrolled descent of the work platform.

Securement Clip for Pipe and Scaffold Engaged Fabric
A clip configured for compressive engagement of fabric to pipe or similar elongated members such as those of a scaffold. The clip has a body with opposing sidewalls separated by a gap. The sidewalls are formed of elastic or flexible material which will temporarily deflect to temporally increase the diameter of the gap, to allow passage of the pipe through the gap. The sidewalls thereafter return to the original position wherein interior surfaces of the sidewalls and an axial cavity of the body compressively engage with the pipe and any fabric adjacent thereto to hold the fabric in a compressive sandwiched engagement between the clip and the pipe.
