A portion of the rotatable member is accessible via the slot of the base member. The clamp includes a second jaw fixedly connected to the rotatable member. The clamp further includes a wedge, and when the wedge is inserted into the slot of the base member to engage the rotatable member in a lock position, the first and second jaws are locked to capture two sides of a shoring post.

Method of Erecting An Offset Scaffold Platform
20210270048 · 2021-09-02 ·

The invention includes a method of building an offset scaffold platform to an existing scaffold structure by using pivoting horizontal scaffold truss members, where each truss has a first end with a pivoting connector that pivot vertically and second ends that have second connectors that pivot horizontally. Each pivoting connector has a movable latch that, when latched, restricts uncoupling from a coupled vertical scaffold member but allows the pivoting coupled truss to remain moveable about the pivoting connector. The method includes the step of connecting one truss to a vertical scaffold member in an existing frame about the vertically pivoting end and connecting the second truss to another vertical scaffold member in the existing scaffold structure about one of its pivoting ends. Each pivoting connector latch is moved to the latched position, each truss is pivoted about its coupled end, and the uncoupled ends are each connected to vertical scaffold members which are supported from an overhead structure. Scaffold boards are positioned between the pivoted trusses to create a working surface therebetween.

FASTENING ELEMENT
20210285242 · 2021-09-16 ·

The invention relates to a scaffolding element having a scaffolding pole (12i), at least one fastening element being disposed or formed on the scaffolding pole (12i). The fastening element preferably has a fastening element body. The fastening element body can be L-shaped. Preferably, the free end of the fastening element body points straight upwards when the scaffolding element (22) is in the mounted state. A projection is disposed or formed below the free end on the fastening element body, in particular in a section parallel to the longitudinal axis of the scaffolding pole (12i). The projection can be part of a U-shaped bead.

SCAFFOLD PLATFORM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

The invention concerns a scaffolding decking (10) for scaffolding in the building sector, with a support frame (16) comprising two longitudinal profiles (18) and one or more transverse profiles (20), via which the longitudinal profiles (18) are connected to one another. The scaffolding decking has a decking plate (12) which is fastened to the longitudinal profiles (18), each cross profile (20) being hooked into the two longitudinal profiles (18) and only being hooked through the decking plate (12) into its longitudinal profiles (18) is held or secured in the hooked position. Each transverse profile (20) has two wall legs (42) which are connected to one another via a back section (44) and wherein the two wall legs (42) have angled free edge portions (46) on which the covering plate (12) rests. Also, the invention concerns a process for the manufacture of the scaffolding above decking (10).

Quick Deploy Scaffolding

The QDS scaffolding system can be delivered to the job-site in a pre-assembled but stowed configuration and can then be rapidly assembled on the job-site. Assembly may be accomplished using an external power source such as a crane, an internal power source such as a hydraulic actuator or an electrical motor, or any other suitable power source. In certain circumstances, manual erection could even be used. It is a modular system consisting of structural frameworks, quick deploy mechanisms, locking frameworks and working platforms. The quick deploy mechanisms are integrated within the structural frameworks and allow each structural framework to be erected from its stowed position to full working height by an auxiliary power source, such as a crane. In some instances the structural frameworks can be erected using an internal power source or even manually. Multiple base assemblies can be connected together to form a scaffolding system of various heights with one or more working platforms

The invention relates to a support (1) for supporting a structure region, comprising a central part which has a hollow profiled rectangular tube (8) and two end parts (4), wherein each of the end parts (4) is arranged so as to be telescopable out of the central part from open ends (9) of the hollow profiled rectangular tube (8) in order to change the length of the support (1). Each of the end parts (4) has a hollow profiled round tube (2, 3), and inner wall regions (21) of the hollow profiled rectangular tube (8) form guides for the hollow profiled round tubes (2, 3). The hollow profiled round tubes (2, 3) can be guided in the central part in the longitudinal direction of the hollow profiled rectangular tube (8) by means of contact region (22) lying against the guides so as to achieve the telescopability of the end parts (4).

CATWALK FLOORBEAM CONNECTION SYSTEM

A catwalk system having a pair of side trusses formed of a top cord and bottom cord connected by a plurality of vertical posts and diagonal posts. The bottom cords have a plurality of joints formed of a bottom plate, opposing side plates and wing plates that form a pocket. These pockets receive an end of floorbeams which are bolted to the side plates. The bottom plate also includes a wind brace section that receives an end of a diagonal wind brace therein. The fabricated side trusses are shipped to the job site where the catwalk is quickly and easily assembled by aligning a pair of side trusses in parallel space alignment and installing floorbeams in the pockets of opposing joints. To provide additional rigidity diagonal wind braces are installed in a zig-zag formation between diagonally opposite joints. This arrangement provides a quickly assembled catwalk that requires minimal assembly.
