BICYCLE STORAGE FACILITIES AND AND COMPUTER-BASED CONTROL OF ACCESS THERETO
A system for computer-based bicycle storage control provides reserving storage compartments of varied volumes in a bicycle storage container based on dimensional specifications of the bicycle to be stored, and the storage volume of the storage compartment. The storage container interior chamber has a turntable with a rotatable platform to align compartments with the container door, which has an adjustable door width to allow a bicycle access into and out of the compartment but limit or prevent access to compartments adjacent to the accessed compartment when the door is aligned with the selected compartment.
Automated Bicycle Storage Facility
A system and method to store a bicycle, with the bicycle transported by a tracked, chain-driven conveyor, the bicycle protected from damage by a container and protected from theft by locking the container and using a code to establish the right to access the bicycle for retrieval.
BICYCLE STORAGE ASSEMBLY
A bicycle storage assembly includes a vertically oriented track, A carriage is movable on the track from a loading position to a storage position, the storage position being elevated above the loading position. The carriage holds a tire and wheel assembly of the bicycle above the other in a storage, elevated position. In a first aspect the carriage comprising a pair of clamping members being devoid of any element that extends over an inside circumferential surface of a rim of the front or rear tire and wheel assembly in the storage position. A second aspect has nested enclosures to reduce storage space. A third aspect includes a movable member coupled to the carriage. The movable member inhibits removal of the bicycle in the storage position.
BICYCLE PARKING DEVICE
A bicycle parking device includes a stand and a trolley mounted in the stand and connected to a lifting unit, which has an elastic element connected with the stand and the trolley, where the elastic element is tight when the trolley is in a lower position. When a bicycle is positioned in an initial parking position, elasticity of the elastic element ensures the lift of the trolley to an upper position. When the bicycle is in the initial parking position with the wheel placed into a wheel fixing mechanism, it fixes the wheel and affects the trolley fixing unit to release and allow the elastic element to transfer the bicycle from the initial parking position to a rear parking position, and when the bicycle is transferred from the rear parking position to the initial position, the wheel fixing mechanism releases the wheel, transferring the trolley to a fixed position.
AN APPARATUS FOR STORING TWO WHEELED VEHICLES
An apparatus for storing a two wheeled vehicle (e.g. a bicycle, electric bicycle or motorcycle etc) having: a housing adapted to receive a two wheeled vehicle and having a door connected to it at one end which is movable between a closed configuration and an open configuration; at least one base support for a two wheeled vehicle; and at least one wheel securing means; the apparatus adapted such that when in use a user is able to open the door and push a two wheeled vehicle into the housing such that the base support receives, guides and engages parts of the wheels of the vehicle and the wheel securing means engages and secures part of a wheel with the result that the vehicle is securely held upright during storage in the apparatus.
Special compact motorcycle storage compartment and structural device
A special compact motorcycle storage compartment for use in various applications. It consists of an exterior structure and lockable door. When a motorcycle is inside, the enclosure prevents vandalism and theft. The structure is not large enough to accommodate a person with the motorcycle. To move a motorcycle into the structure, the combination of a track system and wheel chock is used to keep the motorcycle in an upright position while moving it directly in and out of the structure. An extended handle and the wheel chock is mounted to a supporting platform. The platform is attached to two tracks which allows for movement of the platform in only two directions. The motorcyclist can push or pull on the handle to move the motorcycle into or out of the structure. Once the motorcycle is inside, the front door may be closed and locked, thus securing the motorcycle.
PARKING DEVICE AND START ASSIST DEVICE
A parking device that parks a vehicle without use of a mechanism that enables the vehicle to stand by itself, includes an arm that supports the vehicle, an actuator that moves a position of the arm, and a controller configured or programmed to control an operation of the actuator to bring the arm adjacent to the vehicle in accordance with entry of the vehicle into the parking device.
Combination tent
A combination tent includes a tent frame standing upright on the ground. An outer tent fabric is spread out and mounted on the tent frame. The outer tent fabric encloses an arched space having front and rear ends that are open. An outer tent door fabric is disposed on a first side of the outer tent fabric and is openable and closeable. An inner tent is disposed in the arched space and is connected to the first side of the outer tent fabric. An inner tent door fabric is disposed on a side of the inner tent, is aligned with the outer tent door fabric, and is openable and closeable. The arched space includes an open passage defined between another side of the inner tent and a second side of the outer tent fabric. The open passage extends from the front end to the rear end of the arched space.
STORAGE DEVICES
This invention relates to storage devices, particularly to storage devices for storing and protecting vehicles, and more particularly to storage devices for storing and protecting bicycles and/or motorcycles. In one aspect of the present invention, a storage device may include an enclosure which may be sealed and/or closed off to the outside environment, and may further include a compact, at least partially nesting structure. In an exemplary embodiment, the nesting structure may include a plurality of segments that may form the enclosure, where some of the segments may nest into another to open the enclosure while maintaining the compact form-factor of the structure.
Modular cycle storage apparatus
A modular cycle storage apparatus including at least one at least partially arcuate fixed trunk assembly extending upwardly from the mounting surface, at least one arcuate movable arm assembly mounted relative to the at least one fixed trunk assembly and movable relative thereto between an extended, lower position and a retracted, elevated position, and at least one lower arm assembly mounted relative to a lower portion of the at least one fixed trunk assembly and beneath the at least one arcuate movable arm assembly, each of the at least one arcuate movable arm assembly and the at least one lower arm assembly adapted to mount a cycle for at least temporary storage.
