VEHICLE, AND PARKING FACILITY FOR SAME
An object of the instant application is to provide a vehicle that can minimize parking space and a parking facility that can efficiently park a large number of vehicles in a predetermined parking space. The vehicle 1 includes a bottom flap 7 arranged on a bottom surface of a vehicle body and vertically rotatable around a lower rear end of the vehicle body, a rear flap 8, and geared motors 9, 11 for respectively rotating the bottom flap 7 and the rear flap 8. The parking facility 20 for a vehicle 1′ is configured to include an erecting mechanism (a rotating member 22, an electric motor 23, and a link mechanism 24) for erecting the vehicle 1′ upright with a rear surface facing down, and a transfer mechanism (belt conveyor) 25 for transferring the vehicle 1′ erected by the erecting mechanism to a predetermined position.
Apparatus for left and right alignment of vehicles in parking installation
The present invention relates to a vehicle left and right alignment device for a parking facility. Provided is a vehicle left and right alignment device for a parking facility which is installed at an entrance of a parking facility to align wheels of an incoming vehicle, the device comprising: a front wheel alignment unit (2, 2′) and a rear wheel alignment unit (3) respectively provided on both sides of a central passage part (11) of a frame (1) installed at the entrance of the parking facility. The rear wheel alignment unit (3) comprises: a plurality of rollers (31) extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body and arranged in the vehicle width direction to be rotatable; and a driving unit (30) for rotating the rollers (31) to adjust and align the position of a rear wheel of the vehicle positioned on the rollers (31). The present invention solves conventional problems in which durability is decreased due to occurrence of uneven wear caused by uneven loads applied to a moving means or the body of a vehicle is damaged as a vehicle is moved by a moving means in a non-aligned state. As such, the present invention has an effect of safely performing vehicle transfer by means of a moving means and an effect of reducing manufacturing costs by simplifying a structure.
Bicycle storage facilities and and computer-based control of access thereto
A system for computer-based bicycle storage control provides reserving storage compartments of varied volumes in a bicycle storage container based on dimensional specifications of the bicycle to be stored, and the storage volume of the storage compartment. The storage container interior chamber has a turntable with a rotatable platform to align compartments with the container door, which has an adjustable door width to allow a bicycle access into and out of the compartment but limit or prevent access to compartments adjacent to the accessed compartment when the door is aligned with the selected compartment.

Sun shade
The present disclosure describes a sun shade and a parking shade for a parking lot that includes a plurality of parking spots and one or more driving lanes. One sun shade includes: a panel that is configured to be inflated with a lifting gas to create a buoyant force and comprises hooks or eyelets for attaching tethers; one or more photochromic surfaces that reversibly darken on exposure to ultraviolet radiation and are arranged on a top surface of the panel, wherein portions of the panel that overlap with the one or more photochromic surfaces are transparent; and one or more photovoltaic units that are arranged on the top surface of the panel.

METHOD FOR MANAGING AN AUTOMATIC PARKING LOT
A method for managing an automatic parking lot involves determining a target space depending on an expected departure date of the vehicle, using a computation including allocating, to a new vehicle entering the lot, a target storage space according to the following rule: selection of spaces corresponding to one of the following criteria: o in the case where a row comprises at least one available proximal space, in front of a vehicle associated with a departure date after the departure date of the entering vehicle, o in the case where a row comprises at least one distal proximal space, positioning in a row the last vehicle of which is associated with a departure date before the departure date of the entering vehicle, allocating the target space to one of the selected spaces—otherwise allocating a space in a temporary storage zone including lanes of consecutive spaces.
Protective divider
A protective barrier device adapted for placement within a structure with a particular use adjacent to a vehicle. The device includes a pair of base members comprised of a hollow housing having a cavity for the addition of a weighted material. The device including a top rail and a bottom rail assembled from sections and coupled to the base members to define a perimeter of the device. A central portion generally comprising a panel is shaped for receipt within the perimeter and coupled to the rails in a cohesive assembly. The device is configured for assembly from a collapsed to an extended position for easily transport and shipping.
