Method of constructing a tower
A method of constructing a tower is provided, the method including the steps of providing an elevation mechanism including a dynamic engaging mechanism realized to engage with a tower surface, arranging a 3D printing device on the elevation means, actuating the dynamic engaging mechanism to effect a vertical elevation of the elevation mechanism, actuating the 3D printing device to deposit an essentially horizontal material layer including at least a tower body region, and repeating the steps to obtain a tower structure. A tower constructed using such a method, and a 3D tower printing apparatus, is also provided.
Post sleeve positioning apparatus and related methods
A post sleeve installation system can include a plurality of post sleeve installation devices and at least one spacing beam or mechanism. The spacing beam or mechanism can include end portions that rotate about multiple independent axes and can be coupled to a pair of post sleeve installation devices to determine or control the relative locations and orientations between two post sleeves. The post sleeve installation system can be used to install post sleeves for posts for a fence, a rail or other structure supported by posts.
Drilling rig
A drilling rig includes a base section, a first section, a second section, a third section and a fourth section. For the base section upper region, a fixed pulley block and a guide pulley are installed. Except for the fourth section-crown block section, each section lower region is installed with a lifting lug for a movable pulley block installation for substantially vertical lifting. The crown block section is installed substantially vertical; the subsequent section is located substantially horizontal with the section front pillar upper region connecting to the previous section front pillar lower region. The previous section is substantially vertical lifted to draw the next section skidding into the base section and lifting substantially vertical with the previous section pillar lower region connected to the next section pillar upper region.
Drilling rig
A drilling rig includes a base section, a first section, a second section, a third section and a fourth section. For the base section upper region, a fixed pulley block and a guide pulley are installed. Except for the fourth section-crown block section, each section lower region is installed with a lifting lug for a movable pulley block installation for substantially vertical lifting. The crown block section is installed substantially vertical; the subsequent section is located substantially horizontal with the section front pillar upper region connecting to the previous section front pillar lower region. The previous section is substantially vertical lifted to draw the next section skidding into the base section and lifting substantially vertical with the previous section pillar lower region connected to the next section pillar upper region.
Mobile Tower for Transportation And Remote Deployment
A mobile tower for transportation to and rapid deployment at remote sites where the mobile tower can be engaged with the ground, the mobile tower including an extendable and retractable tower secured to a mobile support structure including a frame having a plurality of rapidly deployable outriggers, wherein the tower includes three series of pivotally interconnected tower sections or segments, sections or segments of which engage with segments of each of the other series when the tower is assembled; the mobile tower including a plurality of guy wires secured between the extendable and retractable tower and the respective outriggers to stabilize the tower after the tower is assembled. The guy wires are preferably secured to the extendable and retractable tower at first and second connecting positions that are displaced from one another about an outer perimeter. Methods of deploying the mobile tower are also disclosed.

Towable cell phone tower raising rig
A trailer carrying a utility pole has parallel spaced beams and transverse interconnections at a front and spaced inward from a rear of the beams. Rests on top of the interconnections support a pole-holding channel that is connected to the beams with plural pivoted frames. A wire passes through turning blocks at a rearward end of the channel and near the rearward interconnection, rotating the frames and pulling the channel towards the rearmost transverse interconnection until the channel holds the pole upright. The trailer is lowered and the pole is connected to a prepared supporting block. The channel is detached from the pole. The channel and frames are lowered by releasing the wire, and the trailer is raised and towed away.
Foundation with pedestal and ribs for towers
A wind turbine foundation comprising a concrete support slab having a horizontal rebar grid therein, a concrete pedestal integral with the support slab and having vertical post tensioning elements therein and a plurality of concrete ribs on top of and integral with the support slab and integral with the pedestal, the ribs having rebar therein and extend outwardly from the pedestal, the pedestal, slab and ribs are connected to each other to form a monolithic foundation. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.
Extendable/retractable support column
An extendable and retractable column which is formed from at least three linked sections or chains. The linked sections include a plurality of individual segments linked end to end. As the linked segments are extended, each of the individual segments of the linked chains engage individual segments of adjacent linked sections to form a column. As the linked sections are retracted, each of the individual segments of the linked sections disengage from the individual segment of the adjacent linked sections and the individual linked sections may be rolled up into a multi-sided form for compact storage.
Extendable/retractable support column
An extendable and retractable column which is formed from at least three linked sections or chains. The linked sections include a plurality of individual segments linked end to end. As the linked segments are extended, each of the individual segments of the linked chains engage individual segments of adjacent linked sections to form a column. As the linked sections are retracted, each of the individual segments of the linked sections disengage from the individual segment of the adjacent linked sections and the individual linked sections may be rolled up into a multi-sided form for compact storage.
