Break Resistant Utility Pole Design
A utility pole is resistant to breakage by providing a connection between an upper and a lower portion. In many embodiments, the upper portion with an arm supporting a utility line is able to deflect relative to a lower portion at the connection and then either be replaced or restored to the upright configuration.

SHIPPING ARRANGEMENT AND ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE FOR DRILLING RIG STRUCTURES
A center drill floor assembly of a drilling rig structure includes a center floor structure and a drilling rig mast section that is at least partially nested within the center floor structure, wherein the center drill floor assembly is adapted to be transported to a drilling site as a single modular assembly and removably attached as a single modular assembly to a drilling rig substructure during assembly of the drilling rig structure.
Method for manufacturing concrete construction blocks for a wind-turbine tower and associated system
The invention has for object a method for manufacturing concrete construction blocks (6) for a wind-generator tower made up of at least two consecutive blocks secured to one another by a contact surface of each of the two blocks, the manufacturing method comprising the following steps: pouring concrete into a first cage of reinforcements (10-1) so as to obtain the first concrete construction block comprising a first contact surface (9), and pouring concrete into a second cage of reinforcements (10-2) so as to obtain the second concrete construction block, the second cage of reinforcements being provided in a form (21) arranged such that the first contact surface (9) of the first block (6-1) makes up a wall for delimiting (26) the pouring of the concrete such as to form a contact surface (9) of the second block (6-2).
Fastener
A fastener for fastening parts together. The fastener has a shaft, a head and movable members that spring outwardly from the shaft to firmly capture the parts between the members and the head upon insertion of the fastener into aligned holes in the parts. No threading step is necessary. The movable members may be retractable into the shaft to facilitate insertion into holes corresponding in size to the shaft. The members may have a contact surface sloping away from the head and forming a tapered space between the members and the head so that the outward spring bias tends to reduce the space and maintain tightness of the joint. The fastener may be operatively deployed by a single insertion step.
Method for Onshore or Offshore Erecting an Upstanding Construction
Methods for onshore or offshore erecting an upstanding construction comprising longitudinal construction parts, comprising the steps of providing the longitudinal construction parts, transporting the longitudinal construction parts on a vehicle to an erection site, providing a crane for hoisting the longitudinal construction parts, using the crane for placing the respective longitudinal construction parts on top of each other on a construction base at the erection site, providing the construction base and/or the longitudinal construction parts with a support and guide facility for the crane, arranging that the crane is mountable on the support and guide facility, and mounting the crane on the support and guide facility of at least one of the construction base and the longitudinal construction parts that is placed on the construction base, so as to arrange that the crane is movable up and down along the support and guide facility of the construction.
WIND TURBINE TOWER AND RESPECTIVE FOUNDATION BASE
The present invention refers to a wind turbine tower and a respective foundation base, comprising a central column with a central column foundation, upper tensile structural elements with upper ends attached to a tensile structure element bearing portion of the central column and tensile structural element foundations around the central column foundation. The structural system is characterized in that each lower end of the upper tensile structural elements is attached to a respective compressive structural element that connects said lower end of the respective upper tensile structural element with a compressive structural element bearing portion of the central column and that each lower end of the upper tensile structural elements is attached to a respective lower tensile structural element that connects said lower end of the respective upper tensile structural element with one of the tensile structural element foundations.
Elongated Flexible Fastening Key
A mechanical utility fastening device created as an alternative rigidity mechanism to the expandable sustainable member beam recited in the parent application U.S. Ser. No. 15/703,993; which connects two items when flexibility and movement between the two connected items is necessary. The flexible fastening key allows for connection of segments of the member beam from the parent application wherein flexibility is needed between the segments and the rigidity key for the member beam to perform the utility of curvature.
Multi-head additive printing device for manufacturing wind turbine tower structure
A system for manufacturing a tower structure of a wind turbine includes an additive printing device having a central frame structure with a platform and an arm member. The arm member is generally parallel to a longitudinal axis of the tower structure. The additive printing device also includes a plurality of robotic arms secured to the arm member of the central frame structure. Each of the robotic arms includes a printer head for additively printing one or more materials. The additive printing device further includes at least one nozzle configured for dispensing a cementitious material. Moreover, the system includes one or more molds additively printed via the additive printing device of a polymer material. As such, the mold(s) define inner and outer wall limits of the tower structure. After the mold(s) are printed and solidified, at least one of the printer heads or the nozzle of the additive printing device is configured to dispense the cementitious material between the inner and outer wall limits of the tower structure.
