Memorialization structures, niches, and methods for manufacturing niches having a recess or cavity that is accessible after installation of the memorialization structures and/or post-burial or post-entombment of a deceased are generally described. In some embodiments, a memorialization niche may include a recess and a door configured to enclose the recess. The door may include a lock configured to prevent public access to the recess. A patron associated with the niche may unlock the door and access the recess. The patron may remove objects from and/or insert objects into the recess post-burial or -entombment of the deceased without disturbing the memorialization structure and/or adjacent memorialization structures and/or requiring a memorial operator to unseal the recess. Accordingly, the patron may continually update the personalization effects of a memorialization structure and achieve a dynamic memorial for the deceased while maintaining the security of any bodily remains and/or personal objects stored in the recess.

Embodiments relate to a crypt system having a frame used as a skeleton structure upon which a façade is secured. The frame includes vertical and horizontal supports, each equipped with a mechanical interconnecting arrangement that allows the frame to be assembled easily and with close tolerances. The interconnecting arrangement also provides the structural stability and integrity desired for a mausoleum or columbarium, even when the system is free-standing. Each horizontal support has a fluid channel that collects fluid (e.g., gas and/or liquid) and directs it to the vertical support in connection with the horizontal support. Each vertical support has a fluid channel to direct the gas up to a conduit that leads to outside the building that houses the crypt system. The vertical fluid channel also directs liquid down to a drain that captures the liquid.

Methods of processing biological materials such as the remains of humans or pets, which may be enclosed in a casket, include depositing the biological materials, including the remains and/or the casket, into a cement kiln and operating the cement kiln to produce clinker, thereby incorporating products of the biological remains into the clinker, such as into a crystal or molecular structure of the clinker, and then grinding the clinker to form a cementitious product.

A method to solidify cremation remains includes milling the cremation remains to a reduced particle size, adding water to the cremation remains to produce a mixture; shaping the mixture into wet ware having a desired shape, drying the wet ware to greenware that is sufficiently dry for firing, and firing the greenware in a kiln until solidified to one or more cremains solids consisting of the cremation remains. A product formed of solidified cremation remains is also disclosed.

A burial system is disclosed herein including at least one container, wherein the at least one container has a container body, a container body top, a container body bottom, and a cap assembly, at least one stake connected to the at least one container, wherein the at least one stake has a stake shaft, a stake head, and a stake tip, wherein the stake head is connected to the container body bottom, at least one side stabilizer, wherein the at least one side stabilizer is connected to the outside of the container body, and a location identifier.

A funerary containment structure for funerary objects, which comprises a base structure, which defines at least one niche, which is designed to contain at least one funerary object and has at least one access opening, which is closed by way of at least one slab which is fixed to the base structure; at least one auxiliary device which has a supporting body which is connected to the base structure and supports at least one supporting arm, which extends laterally from the supporting body; fixing elements for fixing at least one ornamental object to the free end of the supporting arm are furthermore provided.

A funerary structure for containing funerary objects, which comprises a base framework provided with a plurality of profiled elements which are arranged along at least two directions and can be fixed to a supporting wall. The profiled elements delimit laterally at least one containment recess for funerary objects. There is at least one slab for closing the recess, which can be fixed, by virtue of fixing elements, to the base framework on the opposite side with respect to the supporting wall. At least one anchoring plate is provided for the fixing of the funerary structure to the supporting wall.
