Door lock chassis assembly
An apparatus that at least assists in maintaining a lever or knob of a lock device in a relatively neutral and static position. The apparatus includes a biasing element that can be constructed from a compliant material that may at least assist in reducing impact forces between interfacing surfaces at least when the lever or knob is returns to the neutral, static position from one or more activated positions. The compliant nature of the damper can further alleviate issues relating to manufacturing tolerances and wear between interfacing surfaces.
Barn door handle assembly, strike assembly, and lock system
A barn door and wall strike assembly, including a barn door to slide laterally in a first direction and a second direction with respect to a door frame, a handle set assembly attached to the barn door, the handle set assembly including a handle to allow the barn door to open, and a lock having a bolt to lock the barn door when the bolt is extended, and a wall strike attached to the door frame, the strike including a plate to contact the door frame, and a bolt receiving member disposed on the plate, the bolt receiving member comprising an aperture to receive the bolt.
LOCK
A lock includes: a drive unit with a first rotatable connecting member, an opposite second rotatable connecting member, and a drive member; a press member disposed in the first rotatable connecting member; a first sleeve sleeved onto the first rotatable connecting member and including a first positioning groove; a second sleeve sleeved onto the second rotatable connecting member and including a second positioning groove; a first spring disposed in the first positioning groove and having two ends; a second spring disposed in the second positioning groove and having two ends; a first horizontal lever sleeved onto the first rotatable connecting member; and a second horizontal lever sleeved onto the second rotatable connecting member. The lock is improved in durability and service life, can be easily locked pressing the pressing member, and allows a user to tell by appearance whether the lock is locked or not.
Latch bolt installation structure and door lock using such structure
The present invention relates to the field of lockset and provides a lock body a latch bolt installation structure comprising a latch bolt body having a driving part and a latch part, wherein the latch part is detachably connected with the driving part. The latch part is configured with a male part inserting into a female part on the driving part; the female part comprises a first installation position and a second installation position for installing the latch part; when the latch part is installed at the first installation position, a flat surface of the latch part faces towards a first direction; when the latch part is installed at the second installation position, the flat surface of the latch part faces towards a second direction which is opposite to the first direction. The present invention is advantageous in fast reversal of the installation of the latch bolt as well as the construction progress control and user experiences.
Interchangeable handle lockset
A handle set including a chassis and a handle mounted on the chassis. The handle includes a shank having a load bearing section, a primary actuating section, and a secondary actuating section. The chassis includes a housing, a support spindle, a primary actuator, and a secondary actuator. The support spindle is longitudinally coupled with the load bearing section, and the primary actuator is rotationally coupled with the primary actuating section of the handle. The handle set has a first configuration in which the secondary actuating section is engaged with the secondary actuator, and a second configuration in which the secondary actuating section is disengaged from the secondary actuator.
BARN DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY, STRIKE ASSEMBLY, AND LOCK SYSTEM
A barn door strike assembly to receive a barn door lock bolt, the strike assembly including a main body having a first side to contact a door frame, the main body including a bolt receiving aperture disposed within a second side of the main body to receive the barn door lock bolt therein, and a strike base disposed at the first side of the main body, the strike base including a main body contacting portion connected to the main body to attach the main body to the door frame, and a plurality of connecting members to fasten the main body contacting portion to the door frame, and a plurality of apertures disposed within the main body contacting portion to receive the plurality of connecting members therethrough.
REBOUND APPARATUS FOR A LOCK ASSEMBLY
A rebound apparatus for a lock assembly includes a rotation axle, a driving plate and a torsion spring. One end of the rotation axle is passed through a through hole of a tube to connect with a body of the lock assembly, and the other end of the rotation axle protrudes from the tube. The driving plate is disposed in the through hole and is connected with the rotation axle for simultaneous rotation. The driving plate includes a first notch and a second notch which respectively coincide with a first blocking notch and a second blocking notch of the tube. The torsion spring includes a first pushing portion extending to the first notch and the first blocking notch, and a second pushing portion extending to the second notch and the second blocking notch.
DOOR LOCK AND HANDLE ASSEMBLY
A door handle assembly that allows for easy removal and switching of handles is disclosed. Such an arrangement may provide the flexibility to change handle orientation and interchange handles based on a user's circumstances or preferences such as when a door handle is configured as a lever having a curved shape. Further, the door handle may be configured as a door lock having a keypad access control. The face of the keypad accessible from outside the door may include auxiliary battery terminals to provide the user with easy accessibility for providing temporary power to the door lock with an auxiliary battery should the installed batteries housed within the door lock fail to provide sufficient power.
Door lock assembly with waggle reduction
A door lock system may include an outer spindle operatively connected to a disc with a larger diameter than a diameter of the outer spindle. The disc may include an opening that slidingly receives a lock spindle along a lock axis configured to engage a lock body. The lock spindle and the spindle opening may have complementary shapes and sizes such that the lock spindle is rotationally coupled to the disc about the center axis. Torque may be transmitted from a handle to the disc and from the disc to the lock spindle via the opening.
